Katy Perry too hot and cold for Sesame street

So apparently one Katy Perry is to hot for the street...sesame street that is. Here is the video that has apparently been BANNED from SS. The picture here of Katy with Elmo is from the show and you can check out the video here:

Um...I didn't really see anything wrong with that. I read somewhere, I didn't make notes when researching (yes when I write an actual blog like this I usually do research and try to have links or at least be able to tell you where I read stuff), that there was nudity involved. I watched that entire video, I really wanted to hit myself in the head with things once Elmo started singing, but I didn't see any nudity. Was see extremely covered, no. Could she have picked a better outfit...maybe...but I always assumed that the people on SS had some control. I don't think I could show up in my shorts and green lantern shirt and get on SS if they wanted the Fat Man on there.

I actually kinda understand her outfit, now I am not sure, but I think that was a slip or slip type outfit because she was going to be playing dress up. I believe, and believe it or not I don't know this for sure, but I believe the idea of the slip is to be worn under dresses and such.

Now you could argue that if it was a slip she shouldn't be wearing it outside anyway, which is why I said a slip type thing. That is what I first thought when I saw it.

As a guy of course I noticed she was showing some cleavage but honestly as a man I notice that no matter what. If she was wearing a sweater I would notice she is well endowed. She has large boobs! Of course people notice that, its not her fault. I don't blame her one bit.

If anyone is to blame it is SS for allowing it. Why did they? Because they didn't see a problem with it. This almost goes back to my rant on political correctness and SS fell into that trap. To keep the kiddies, and more importantly, their parents buying all that Elmo crap they had to take this away.

To be honestly I'm confused as to why this was on SS but I am sure the show has changed a lot since I was watching. I remember Grover, Kermit, Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird and his imaginary friend. I don't remember Elmo. I remember the show being sponsored by some letter. That cool pinball segment that was on every show and I think it always went to number 12, but it was kinda cool music. I don't remember random celebrities coming on the show but what do I know I was like 13 or 14 when I was watching....er...um...3 or 4...yeah...that's the ticket!

I don't know Katy Perry from Matthew Perry (well I do as I would rather look at Katy...seriously she is HOT and if I liked that kinda music it was horrible) and had it not been mentioned on the O'Reilly Factor I wouldn't have heard about it. By the way, check out his interview with Jon Stewart. Why Jon goes on that show boggles my mind but that is for another blog. Until next time....I think I am going to have to check out more Katy Perry
