Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, when ever it is that you're reading me! I want to talk about Black Friday, well actually the day before. You know the day that is for all American's to be gluttons and eat and eat and eat. Hey I'm not complaining mind you because I love food.
However I'm not here today to make fun of Americans or our crazy fancy holidays. Nope, I am here to make fun of Americans and how we can't ever be happy.
Okay happy is the right word. For the last couple of years we've had more and more stores start to open up Thanksgiving night or all day Thanksgiving even. This has caused an outrage...if you're company is named Wal-Mart...for the most part. These people need to be at home with their families watching the football game (never mind the players aren't with their families...I've never heard any outcry for them, or the officials, or the TV crews, camera men, cheerleaders, production people, truck people, security guards at the game....you get my drift).
And I know why people aren't upset about the Lions players, they are making a lot of money, so it is okay. But that cashier at Wal-Mart....Wal-Mart is evil! Well when I'm not there taking advantage of their fabulous deals that is!
I've was lucky that the bookstore that shall not be named that I worked for wasn't open on Thanksgiving, however I would have no problem working it. Do you know why? Right on the application it asks about holidays and weekends. These people knew that they *MIGHT* have to work on say Thanksgiving or The Fourth or Easter or Flag Day or Pioneer's Day or whatever made up holiday it is.
Does it suck? Perhaps for some people who truly want to be with their families, however they aren't working 12-15 hour days. They will still get to spend time with their families just not all day.
I've also seen people talk about how the CEO's and the higher ups won't have to work that day. You are correct. They also don't have to work weekends while others do. That argument seems flawed to me somehow.....
Should these people have to work on a holiday...yes...if the public demands it...and guess what boys and girls...they do. Oh boy do they ever.
I work for a movie theater chain now and guess what one of the biggest days of the year is? Christmas. So guess what that means? Some poor souls have to work the ticket booth and concession stand and sweep up after your snot nosed brats and start the movies and all that.
They are open because there is a demand for it. You bet the CEO's are greedy and want money, that is their job. Companies could ignore Black Friday, and be closed on Sunday's for religious reasons. Of course that means that the consumers will go else where those day...and possibly other days as well.
We as consumers have 100's of choices so companies need to do whatever they can to get us to come into their establishments. If that means being open on Thanksgiving then they will.
While I've never been shopping on Thanksgiving I have gone out to eat and have gone to the movies. I have also worked those days at the University who shall not be named because people needed me. My customers needed me so I helped them. That includes all holidays. Christmas day while I was working at the University I was answering tickets because people were studying and needed help. No one asked me or expected me to do it. I did it because that is what my customers needed.
Same with these business. Do you think Walgreens would be open if they didn't make enough money to make it worth their wild? Of course not. It isn't the companies who are at fault...its us...the consumers. We are quick to make blame, but we are sending it in the wrong direction.
I'll end with this old saying, and I'm sure I'll butcher it:
Remember When You Point A Finger At Someone, There Are Three More Pointing back At You.

Put a sheet on that or the costumes that killed Halloween
For those who don't get the title of this entry it is in reference to E.T. They re-released E.T. but put digital sheets on the characters when they go out on Halloween because they go as terrorist and we can't have that.
I've talked about it before and I feel like I am most likely repeating myself here but I am going to do it anyway.
The problem is that we, as a country, focus our energies on things that don't matter, yet we leave those that do alone.
Halloween is the perfect example. I won't rant and rave on the amount of time people put into their costumes yet couldn't tell you who was running in the election Tuesday. I won't talk about the irony of telling our children not to talk to strangers and then parade them all over town asking and taking food from said strangers. No I am going to talk about the outrage 3 costumes have caused.
No it wasn't because a bunch of girls were parading around basically naked, although that is basically what the "holiday" has become right? An excuse for women to dress as skimpy as possible and then wonder why some men see them as only objects....but not the point here.
The outrage came because of three young ladies, I say young ladies because they are over 18, because of their costumes. One, in the states...from Michigan, dressed as Boston Marathon Bombing Victim while two over in England went as the Twin Towers (not of the Lord of the Rings fame).

The image above is her picture. No where does it say Boston or anything like that. If I saw this with no context I'd assume it was a zombie costume. Throw a little blood on your and you're a zombie right? Zombies would eat someone in a marathon/race. I assume, and I am not going to go look it up, that she said she was the victim. Okay so she was slightly, or more than slightly perhaps, insensitive. However we've seen costumes of priest with little boys and those were okay? Or terrorists? Or the rubber masks of various killers and murderers?
Here is what pisses me off about the whole situation, not that she did it but our reaction. She received threats to be raped and death threats. She was fired from her job. Really? This deserved that kind of reaction? People we have people starving to death everyday! We have people who aren't allowed to be themselves and be married to the person they love because they both happen to be the same sex. We have people shooting other people almost daily. We have companies and religious groups boycotting funerals and people because of their beliefs. Yet this woman throw a little fake blood on her along with a number and we are ready to string her up! If you want to see some info on her her twitter account is @SomeSKANKinMI. Yeah not the best name and her background is from a certain "casting couch" website....or so I've been told he he! She has nearly topless photos on her twitter as well. I bring this up because it leads me to something else (yes this is a stream of consciousness boys and girls, no real thought ahead of time).
This young lady is us. This young lady is America. This young lady is what our future. Now before I go on I am not picking on Alicia, that is her name according to twitter. She is basically a what most 22 year olds are...can we really hate her for what we as a society seem to revel in? We follow the train wrecks that are young celebrities like Miley Cyrus or Amanda Bynes yet seem confused when a young lady like Alicia does something like wear a costume.
We are lost boys and girls. As a country, as a society and as a race. And before you go thinking that I am going to go all religious saying we need God back you'd be wrong there. I don't have an answer to be honest. If I did I wouldn't be writing this blog I'd be doing something important with my life like going on Dr. Phil or becoming the next Dr. Phil. Yes that was another shot at us as a people.
The other costume I wanted to bring up was that of two young ladies who went as the Twin Towers.
They won some contest. Honestly my biggest problem is that their costume suck! Seriously look at them! Did they steal some cardboard from a homeless guy? Seriously that is my biggest problem with this. Nothing good about this, creative or anything. If you're going to do this do it right and make them the correct color at least!
Look at these two, they are exactly what I was talking about moments ago. They are us people! They are the reflection of us. Don't like what you see? Then change it boys and girls. Going to twitter and facebook and making death threats is not going to change it.
In conclusion my response to these costumes is who cares. They did nothing but make people feel bad...which actually might be a crime anymore. In a world where bullying is brought up for every little thing what about bullying of these young ladies and the threats? Hypocrites isn't just a river in Egypt...oh wait...

Really? REALLY?!?!
Hello folks and I am back for at least today with a blog entry full of my thoughts on some of the stories out there in the news recently:
- In Texas at least one parent is accusing a football team of being bullies. These damn jocks were bullying his nerdy kid. They were giving him wet willies and nuggies and swirlies....wait what? That wasn't the case? It was because a football team beat your football team 91-0? Well shut up and stop being a pussy. That is not bullying. I've always said if I can beat a team by 100 points I would and if a team can beat me by 100 points they should. It is about playing the best you can and feelings be damned.
- This brings me to a brief rant on bullying. When did it become that everything that is done to anyone is bullying? People are bullying people....to death. I'm sorry but I don't buy it. The bullying didn't cause someone to kill themselves. Did it contribute to it...you bet! Is it wrong....no doubt. But bullying has been around since the beginning of time and it will be till the end of time. You can't stop it, its like emptying the sea with a spoon. Can you try to stop it, of course. But charging kids, yes kids, with murder because they bullied someone and said they should kill themselves is wrong. How many times have you said "I could just kill you for that." or "do that one more time and I'll kill you." Does that mean you actually want them dead? And even if you did when is that illegal? There are a lot of people that I wouldn't mind seeing dead can I be held responsible for it? This is not a popular opinion but quite frankly I don't care. Bullying isn't the issue it is the fact that we are continually weakening our children mentally. We have made a generation of babies. He yelled at me it is hostile. They beat me and it made me feel bad. Well you should feel bad if you're beat because they are better then you are. Why did he yell at me...oh because I'm not doing what I'm suppose to be doing. We are a bunch of pussies anymore and it drives me crazy.
- Two years ago when all the Occupy Wallstreet stuff was going on, and that had some staying power huh....some security guard pepper sprayed a bunch of protesters. Well he got 38k in workmans comp because of his mental anguish from death threats. People are upset about this. I don't know why they are upset. If he could prove that that is what workmans comp is for. It isn't if you agree with the things he did. Also for the record I don't disagree with what he did if they were told they were on private property and that they needed to leave.
- When will this country do something about the gun violence in this country. A middle school shooting...really? Fuck me.
- On CNN they have an article on if taking a kid to Sea World is a good thing or not. Why? Because it could teach kids that humans dominate animals. Really? REALLY! FUCK YOU! I hate shit like this.
- This goes to my bullying stuff. Enough people. Let the kids be kids. Let them pick on each other. Let them go to zoos and water parks and play dodgeball and cops and robbers and fall down and hurt themselves.
Okay I have to actually go work and get pissed off there instead of here on the internet. Until next time!
ABYSSINIA!

Review of Nazi Zombie Battleground
You can listen to my review below but here are my notes as I watched this dreck:
Starts of with stupid not to "history" sorry for the liberties. Yeah not a good start
I think the star is a poor mans Jake Gillinhall and that is sad…and he might be naked under his captain jack jacket
This is already worse then last weeks flick and we're only 4 minutes in. I might have to start drinking!
Wow the runny makeup bit in a 2012 film…and was that a dude typing? Odd for WWII isn't it?
Code name Jezebel….did Jim Ross write this dialog?
nice, still drawings I am begging for Girls Gone Dead right now! EAT DIRT BITCH!
I am no actor but I could do better than this Zombie pilot hidden under grass…and then gone…I'm confused…did I start drinking?
Wait he is back…and now we have a ninja? Weren't they on the same side? The Japanese and the Germans? He actually looks like Junior from Reno 911
Wait…I think they are both zombies…I might have passed out and missed a part here I don't get paid enough to watch these movies!
Cool…a robot Nazi…that is also a lie detector…that can detect a lie without anything
Okay I was wrong, this movie rules! Nazi robots are cool
The main character George has completely douchy hair oooo… a cross-eyed death throw, very nice! I hope one day to die in a movie that way
35 minutes in and thus far I've only seen 1 maybe 2 zombies…and as I say that one shows up. Thus far I haven't seen millions of dollars show up on my desk….nope didn't work
And it is thankfully over…..uggg….no such luck.
I must have done something very bad in a past life to have willingly watched this dreck.
Somehow this flick has 4.7 on IMDB.
The second segment here isn't nearly as bad.
The acting is actually half ass decent. Actually this is decent acting…too bad the script is so bad.
Decent makeup job as well, I wish I could say more bad things about this second segment but not so much
This second segment is actually very good.
I almost want to change my rating on IMDB. We'll see how segment 3 does
And then segment 3 starts…and it is bad bad bad Wow…just….wow

Shame on you Dixie Carter!
Since the end of April 1990 I have been a wrestling fan. I believe it is was Roddy Piper who coined the phrase "the sickness" but I have it. I live and breath and eat professional wrestling. I really do. I have over 600 video tapes, several TERABYTES of wrestling and watch it almost religiously. In High School I didn't work on Monday's because of Raw and Nitro. From 1993 to 1997 I did not miss a Monday Night Raw. I have been to dozens of shows, several TV shows and a few Pay Per Views. Back in SLC I even started to go to independent wrestling. One of my biggest regrets was not training when I had a chance. To say that I am a massive fan is an understatement.
The first match I saw was Hulk Hogan taking on the Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania 6. I became a fan because of Hulk Hogan! This will come into matters later.
That being said my fandom has been waning for the last few years. The storylines and the in ring performances haven't been what I am looking for. I still keep up with it but I don't make sure I see EVERYTHING like I did for years. Then this happened....
Zema Ion, a young kid in TNA, had to have his appendix removed. Not the first person and not the last but here is the issue. Pro Wrestlers are "independent contractors". That means they don't get insurance. No big deal but in TNA the wrestlers can't wrestle anywhere that they are taped for TV or DVD, if you believe what is being reported and I believe that. They are also typically, if they aren't a major star...which Zema isn't, are on a per date deal. That means that if they aren't "booked" or scheduled for the show they don't get paid. So if TNA doesn't book Zema for a month he doesn't get paid. So if TNA doesn't use Zema for several weeks no money comes in yet he can't go to a local group if he is getting taped. So Zema's appendix burst and he doesn't have insurance. Big problem but it gets worse. The youngster, much like myself and millions of people, doesn't have insurance. The difference is that millions, myself included, doesn't work for a multi-million dollar national televised professional wrestling company.
About a week, and my time frame might be off a bit but it all happened about the same time, something happened in the ring. The lovely ring announcer Christy Hemme announced the wrong team. One of the performers, Austin Aries...who plays a cocky jerk of a character, didn't like this...which his character shouldn't. He backed her into a corner and demanded his team properly announced. He then climbed the ropes while she was in the corner. When he did this his crotch was in her face. Now I believe that this was not something done on purpose. He did not thrust into her face or do anything sexually, he merely climbed the turnbuckles which is does after his announcement in every match. It is reported she didn't like this, which I understand, but it wasn't until a former announcer and all around jerk, my opinion, Mark Madden made a big deal out of it that people noticed. He claimed that Aries harassed Hemme and after a few days TNA and Spike TV, where their show is aired, made an announcement that Aries was fined.
So back to Zema Ion, several people have contacted Dixie on her twitter asking if she or TNA or Spike would be helping Zema with his bills. I did this myself and the owner of PWInsider.com did as well and has led the charge on this a bit. I am a paying member of this website and if you are a wrestling fan you should be too because it is the best out there!
Dixie has said nothing and it is sickening to me. Their silence is deafening. Yes I understand this young man should have medical insurance. Yes this could happen to anyone including me. However this kid is limited where and when he gets paid yet he isn't supplied insurance. I believe that if you are going to listen to a fat worthless slob like Mark Madden who is out for himself why not when people are trying to help someone else? To be honest I am not a fan of Ion. He is a high flying guy and I like guys who have more psychology and mat skills, but that is my preference. I believe that TNA should help this kid and honestly I am honestly thinking about not watching their show anymore.
Now I doubt that Dixie will see this and I really doubt that Hulk Hogan will. Hogan you talk about your influence with Dixie and how you want TNA to be the next big thing. Well Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter do the right thing! Help this young man who was a champion for you. WWE would have helped him. Do the right thing if not for the public relations then because it is the right thing.
I leave you with this, what if it was Mark Madden making a big deal out of this instead of the Hemme situation, would you cave and help Ion then? DO THE RIGHT THING!

The death of customer service? (crisis of who I am)
I made the mistake recently of going onto a facebook page for Barnes and Noble employees. I joined it when I was still working there and somehow was there the other day and someone asked about calling a store after it closed for a customer and what would you do if it was you're store. I was shocked that most people said it was rude and how could you do that. I said that you are still on BN time and that you should do whatever you can to help a customer and I was berated for saying that. So much so that I have been accused of belittling others and argumentative. While I am those things and a lot more I wasn't here. I don't know these people and I think people who know me know that I am respectful till given a reason not to be.
Then again perhaps they read my politeness as belittling which was not the case. Anyway that is not the point of the store, that I was sucked into one of the few internet wars (mine always seem to be on FB). What shocked me was how everyone was against going the extra mile. I even had someone say:
We have a customer service goal set up for us - it's called SPH. If what you're doing for a customer is increasing SPH, keep doing it. If it's not, then you need to learn "creative disengagement". Gene, I'm glad you decided to leave the company. If every individual bookseller ignored company standards and gave whatever level of customer service that they happened to like, we'd have chaos and a mess
I ignored the standards by giving exceptional service. This is what is wrong with my former company which many MANY dear friends still work for and I said as much. But this isn't a problem at BN only. What happened to customer service?
People used to be helpful in stores right? It used to be about building relationships and keeping them returning to the store right? I ask because I don't feel that in any store I go into. Yes I know part of the reason is that every store out there is understaffed and overworked. I've been there but it didn't stop me from doing what i could to keep our guests and customers coming back. If that meant answering a phone before or after hours I did it. If that meant picking up a computer at the FedEx store so that I could get it back to the employee for Monday morning I did it.
Am I the only one that feels that customer service, and respect for the customer/guest, has been on a major decline lately? Hell perhaps I'm wrong and I should have just focused on getting projects done or did my 9 hours and left. Other people do it and I sure didn't make a difference at BN or WGU.
A dear friend once called me a martyr and I realize I am. I just want to make places better when I'm there and I always felt I did but now I don't know. This has lead to me questioning who I am as an employee. Is going above and beyond wrong now? Is it just about doing what everyone else is doing?
I don't know if I can handle that. I strive to be the best. I need to be the best. I mentioned it a while ago about being a dinosaur...perhaps it is time for this dinosaur to evolve and just be like everyone else instead of wanting to be the best.
I don't know how to be like everyone else. I know I'll call Barnes and Noble and see if they have a book on it (see that was belittling a bit)

WWE Hall of Fame or Hall of Shame this year?
This might come off as a fan boy but it is the truth.
I have been a wrestling fan since 1990. If you follow this blog you know that. I am not ashamed of this. However I am ashamed of how WWE is airing the Hall of Fame this year.
People who know me know that I am a huge Mick Foley fan. I briefly meet him at Comic Con years ago and I kind of froze up (well completely) because of my fandom. I got him to sign my beaten up copy of his first book. I've lost the cover and it is about to fall apart. For years I kept that book with me as my "go to" when I needed something to read. It is fantastic as are all his books!
WWE has screwed Mick's induction from day one. Every other inductee has got a video the day they are announced, Mick got to come to the ring and then ran off by The Shield with no follow up or anything. Mick didn't even get a video.
Mick is also a headliner. He should have gone into the Hall of Fame in a year that it was his year. Yes, I realize that the Bruno Sammartino thing came late and he deserves it, and I believe that Mick agrees with that. I also believe that Mick wants to be inducted at MSG.
I will go with all of that because Mick is getting what he deserves, entering the Hall of Fame. Then it was announced who was going to be on the USA TV Special. Bruno, Trish and....and....Donald Trump. Yep, they are going to show Donald Trump, who was on WWE TV for a few weeks and one Wrestlemania. Not a guy who is in one of the most shown clips in WWE history (I'm guess, almost everyone who even casually watch wrestling has seen Mick get thrown off the Hell in the Cell) or the guy who was one of the most over characters during wrestlings hottest time. Nope Donald Trump because he is friends with Mr. McMahon and it was announced that Mr. McMahon is inducting him.
I feel that WWE should apologize and say something like that:
"Mr. Foley, I don't know if you'll see this but it is was wrong that you were not shown on TV in favor of a celebrity. Mr. Foley, it was wrong that your fans were not able to see you on TV accepting your award. Most of all Mr. Foley, we are sorry that we don't respect you enough that we believe you can get ratings better then a celebrity."
That won't happen and I hate it. I have not bought a wrestling DVD in a long time, and I have most if not all of the matches on Mick's forthcoming DVD, I am going to go buy with my first paycheck in 9 months. Because I RESPECT Mick (something WWE doesn't do).
Mr. Foley, Mick if I may, know that you have touched people outside of wrestling more than those making this horrible decision ever will. Operation Smile, RAINN, and all your other work. To quote an old music, "You're a good man Mick Foley" and while it might not mean a thing you are respected by many many fans out there, including this one.
Also for the record I will be Wrestlemania on DVD (Not on PPV) because I will get to see one of my favorites inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Live Blog of 3-18-13 Raw
Here are my thoughts on Monday Raw and the interactive App live as it happens:
- Not a fan of Triple H and Brock Lesnar being the first recap instead of Punk and Taker. I think Punk deserves it more than the rest of these guys personally but it might be the fact that I am a huge Punk fan
- Hopefully if they continue with Kane being mentioned in the Punk/Taker feud someone tells Michael Cole that he is Taker's half-brother. Same mother different fathers and not step-brothers
- Oh good, we start of your favorite and mine Johnny Cena in a "cool" new yellow shirt
- Uggg, I already hate this promo, a repeat of two weeks ago!
- Really? The Primetime Players? I love these guys but they are going to be fed to Cena?
- Wow...they are doing the gimmick from the app last week. It was bad on the app as well if you're wondering
- This is horrible boys and girls, how does Vince McMahon think this is going to sell Wrestlemania?
- I like that Cena got serious when they mentioned last years mania
- Darren Young DOES look a little bit like Cena
- That match was pointless!
- Mark Henry taking on Ryback at Mania is cool if Henry goes over. Henry should be going after the title after Mania
- WWE using the app has screwed up the timing of the show. I realize they want to use it but what was the point of putting a break during the Cena/Young match?
- Really they are pushing the movie more than the match during this app interview with Otunga?
- I wish I could time shift Raw and not have to watch these horrible commercials, I'm spoiled having downloaded it for so long
- Battle of the Nexus! I wonder how many people remember the Nexus
- Another squash match 20 days before mania. These matches will help beat last years numbers I'm sure!
- Only 2.5 hours left of this show...only I saw
- Can I get 3 hours of the Shield beating people up....or Mark Henry who is walking out to the ring right now!
- Wow Pancake Patterson and Darren Young are both trending on Twitter worldwide
- Vicki Guerrero went to the Seth Rollins school for haircuts...and it looks stupid on both of them
- Henry vs. Ryback is official
- I like Johnny Curtis but man this Fandango character is annoying beyond believe because it makes no sense
- Really? A Great Khali segment on active.....wait a second I actually understand most of what he is saying. I saw him live once and didn't understand a word.
- This is such a waste of Nattie Neidhart
- Did I really just understand almost everything Khali said? I think my fruit punch might be spiked! (and if it isn't it should be if I have another 2.5 hours of this show!)
- I really hate these "Did you know" segments. Get over yourself Mr. McMahon!
- I don't think that is the same chick from last week with Fandango
- Did he steal this outfit from Disco Inferno? Does anyone reading this know who The Might DI is?
- Another career ruined by WWE creative...you're welcome
- I can't believe that the Smackdown Audience went down after this awesome Khali/Fandango segment
- I really wanted this gimmick to debut with Johnny Curtis denouncing it like Dustin Rhodes did with Se7en in WCW....but nope it is a "real" gimmick
- I like the brief smile at the fans chanting "You Can't Wrestle"
- The WWE app screwed up, mine did atleast, and only showed 30 second of an R-Truth Interview...and that's a good thing!
- Damian Sandow should be further up on the card, I'd say IC champ but that is just me. I dig this guy and still can't believe it is Aaron Stevens
- Okay I don't mind Truth in the ring but his interviews are horrible
- This really has been a horrible show
- Wow the WWE App just brought up Kenny Dykstra and that R-Truth beat him in his debut.
- I like that Sandow usually leaves the ring instead of getting beat, I don't know why but I dig that gimmick
- I didn't really miss the Bella Twins as characters. Nice to look at but annoying as characters
- Anderson Spinebuster on WWE App. Perhaps the best looking move in history
- Jonathan Coachman doing commentary on Mania...wow I blocked that out
- Good lord Taker looks old! Hard to believe he has been wrestling for McMahon since 1990
- Not a great promo by Punk sadly
- Is this show over.....did Punk just say "Oh Shit?" I love CM Punk even if that promo was horrible
- I really dug the version of Rhyno that debuted at Mania X7, too bad personal problems and stupid booking killed him in WWE and TNA. Always one of my favorites
- I can't believe the Taker/Punk match is going to be about Punk dropping the urn. Almost as bad as feuding over a shampoo commercial
- Team Hell No on their way out! Poor Primo and Epico are going to get destroyed without D-Bry getting in the ring I believe
- I'm wrong as D-Bry tagged himself in. Oh and for the record before I cut my beard off it was better then D-Bry's or Josh Reddick's. Mine was...to steal a phrase...awesome!
- This has been a pretty good match, Primo and Epico are really good in the ring
- AJ comes out to distract Team Hell No. Remember when AJ mattered to the WWE until she got hooked up with Dolph and he drug her down
- Remember when Jericho mattered? Now he comes back to get the Mania paycheck
- Fandango? With Jericho? Are they thinking about putting these guys into a program?
- A little bit of old school Jericho coming out there
- I can't stand Santino Marella but I'm glad he wasn't seriously hurt with his recent neck injury. Lets just keep him on the WWE App and not in matches
- Remember when Cody Rhodes had that awesome mask gimmick? Now he has a mustache gimmick and is the Barry Horowitz of 2013. Has great matches but no question who is going to win his matches
- Did they give Alberto new entrance music? A more upbeat version of his old
- Cody is really good and fluid in the ring. Not quite as good as his brother Dustin but really close.
- Half way through the show and I feel like I had a birthday during this show its been so long and boring
- Sadly there is no question as to where this match ends, with Cody tapping out
- Cody landed no his face? I hope he broke his nose and goes back to the mask gimmick...is that a bad thing for me to say?
- Cole, Alberto doesn't call it a cross arm breaker...that is what the move is
- Some fans are chanting USA....at Alberto or Cody?
- Jack Swagger attacks and that is a shocker
- Ricardo is the modern day Bobby Heenan with his ability to take bumps as a manager
- I like the Zeb Colter character, I really do. Dutch is really good in the role. Gotta Love uncle Zeb
- Again the fans are chanting USA...for Swagger or Alberto? I'm confused by these fans
- Oh no, Ricardo is getting abused. Ricardo is so damn good in the role of getting beat up and his ankle was just snapped by Swagger sadly
- It is too bad that injury angles don't work anymore because Ricardo was really good on the app just now. I think I would have believed he was hurt, he was that good, maybe a little over the top but I've seen people respond that way. Ricardo deserves a raise
- I really like that they are acting like the injury is serious instead of just going to some random comedy segment or the Hall of Fame segment
- Really? Booker T is going into the Hall of Fame now? Why not wait, I think he could have been the main draw in the future
- Did they just throw a GI Bro reference in there? Really?
- Was that Mortis I saw briefly?
- I remember watching Booker in the GWF on ESPN after school
- Ugg, now they are making jokes. Should be a little more reserved after just seeing a mans ankle broken in my opinion. At least a segment boys
- Randy Ortons theme music is one of my favorites
- Booker is on the app and he is reserved instead of the character. I like that and respect that. Also let me say that I really like Matt Striker because he is a fan and he really seems to get it. He should be announcing on one of the shows on TV, I'd say Main Event.
- Booker just said Harlem Heat is going to reunite at the Hall of Fame. That is cool, because I know it was reported that they, Booker and Stevie Ray, were having issues.
- The show has picked up a little bit but the Three Man Band will ruin that! Drew McIntyre has such potential
- 3MB=The Spiders. Old school fans should get that reference
- Randy Orton seems to enjoying the matches too much. I see a turn in his future
- I thought Roman Reigns hurt himself after screwing up the spear last week
- Wow Big Show running to the ring, that is a sight!
- How good is Dean Ambrose and all he is doing is reacting on the floor, he is going to be money if they don't screw it up...which they probably will
- I like that Sheamus wouldn't let Show behind him, that is really smart
- This years mania song isn't nearly as annoying as Florida's last year
- How many time has Kofi Kingston been buried...almost as many times as his opponent Dolph Ziggler
- I'll be honest I just can't get into this match because neither man matters right now
- Did AJ dye her hair darker? She looks amazing this week as usual
- Dolph has won three matches in a row! Amazing...however why didn't he cash in the brief case while Alberto was knocked out earlier?
- Team Hell No vs. Dolph/Big E. at mania.
- Damn AJ is smoking hot
- I still don't like the Punk segment even though we've seen it three times now
- Why is Cena vs. Rock personal? Rock isn't even worried, he is out doing movie promos
- I just don't feel the build up for Mania again this year. Am I getting old and losing "the Sickness" that is wrestling fandom
- Brad Maddox makes me laugh, he is a complete goof
- Not a fan that we are going to end the show with Hunter and Brock, two part timers. I know it is a major match at mania but just makes me sad for the guys who are there day in and day out
- Why not just make the guys tag if you're going to book the match where there are only two guys in the ring at one time anyway
- Jericho seems to be in slow motion against Barrett and I don't think it is Jericho's fault
- This has been one of the better triple threat matches I'll say that. All three guys are good and it is sad that Miz isn't still in the main event
- I like that Barrett used his brain to win the match and not some lame DQ or something like that
- Enough of these stupid ass movie promos!
- Do the people who send in these touts realize they're going to be on TV?
- Isn't it about time for Hunter to get new music?
- I do like the short hair, I think it makes him look tougher but I think they should have had Brock cut his hair after breaking his arm, just my opinion and a others as well
- The worst looking security is following Heyman to the ring. Might as well as had me be security
- I don't know if there has been anyone better on the mic then Paul Heyman
- They should have hired Atlas security to pop the old school fans
- I love the way Heyman makes it seem real
- They have really been doing the overtime stuff
- Is Triple H the new RVD busting open everyone! First Brock and now Paul E.
- I don't understand why Lesnar waited till after the contract signing, it makes no sense, I guess that is wrestling logic
- No Count Out, No DQ, No stopping the match.....No Holds Barred. Hunters career is on the line. Interesting
That is it for tonight all. Not the best show and I'm not sure they realize that Wrestlemania is in three weeks hopefully the next two weeks will pick up

Rise of the Zombies movie review
I picked up Rises of the Zombies at Walmart for 5 bucks and here are my thoughts as I watched it. (It might contain spoilers) [Also I would link to Amazon but it Out of Stock because it is either that good or even they have given up on it]
- A lot of action to start the film and a cool effect to show people turning from human to zombie. IMDB says its a TV movie but about 10 minutes in and I am impressed thus far
- Some of the acting is pretty bad, LaVer thus far has actually been the worst
- While the zombie makeup isn't the best I am still impressed after some of the other TV zombie movies that SyFy have put out
- It is interesting that they have take a few things from the Romero films and expanded on them, still not down on the flick yet but not overly impressed either
- Mariel Hemingway is not impressive thus far either
- The characters seem to be very one dimensional and the typical for a zombie flick. The doctor who wants to find a cure. The army/hard ass guy. The military guy who just wants people to survive. The old person. Things like that
- The writing is bad, bad like the book I'm writing.
- Danny Trejo is bad. I don't blame him it is the script and the poor
- Why does every zombie flick have the person who believes the zombies can be cured
- It is interesting that the zombies seem to be dormant till they sense pray, much like the Walking Dead
- Wow a one arm zombie just took out half the group. They should be ashamed
- A chainsaw, interesting, a zombie video game staple but not in movies as much
- Okay zombies that can climb the Golden Gate Bridge? That is goofy even for zombie movie standards
- I haven't shot a shotgun but the way Hemingway carries and shots it is horrible. The director should be ashamed of themselves
- Ethan Suplee is the best part of the flick so far. His soft military guy is believable. I've always liked him
- There are a lot of things in this flick that are like the Walking Dead, I assume it is because they are standard zombie ideas....YES! ZOMBIE BABY!!
- Possibly zombie monkeys next!
- Interesting usage of God vs. Science
- There is now a dog in the group! I like dogs
- Now there is a preggo chick? Gotta get all the cliches in there
- Strange the evacuation zone is not safe, that is a shocker
- Good grief! This scene is uncalled for! Way over the top and I don't think anyone could do it honestly. Wow that was gross
- How do zombies always just show up with no warning? How do they not hear them coming?
- Still not disappointed with this film. It isn't Romero or Snyder but for TV I am impressed actually
- Disappointed with a zombies some, just the way they behave in the background
- Interesting the one girl gives up. The first time in the flick that I've been disappointed with the CGI. I haven't seen Heather Hemmens in anything but I'm impressed with her
- In a matter of two minutes the two worst effects
- Really sneaky zombies in this flick
- Nice use of water and electricity. It is like Bioshock and an interesting way to kill or at least neutralize the zombies
- Yes a crazy scientist. All of the stereotypes are represented now!
- They just Hershel'ed Suplee's arm!
That wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting! A few of the effects were poor but it was a TV movie. The acting and script wasn't great but again it wasn't the Walking Dead or Romero. For 5 bucks I don't feel ripped off at all and I am actually glad I picked it up. Suplee and Hemmens were both good in their roles I thought. A basic plot and very by the book character and script wise but I enjoyed it. I'd say average, a 2.75 out of 5.
I don't know if anyone reads these but if you do let me know what you think of this "live" type recap of my thoughts. Do you like it better than the old recap?

Walking Dead and Zombie Talk
Anyone who knows me knows that I love zombies. I don't know what it is about zombies that I enjoy but I do. When I first saw the remake of "Night of the Living Dead" I sorta of fell in love with them.
Recently on a podcast I listen to, @zombiworldorder on twitter, and you can find their podcast through the podcast app on ipad. Anyway a few months ago they talked about their top five zombie movies and 28 Days/Weeks Later are brought up. They both believe that they are zombie movies which I disagree with. We exchanged a few twitter messages and agreed to disagree. Also as I was writing this I found out I won a DVD for my feedback to the show. I really do enjoy their show, even if I don't agree with some of the stuff they say. It isn't just zombies, they talk about survival and weapons which is interesting.
Okay back to the 28 Days/Weeks stuff. The argument is are the infected in the movies zombies? I say no personally but because I put on caveat on modern zombies, they are dead that come back as undead.
Yes I know originally zombies were voodoo and the person was basically brainwashed. However in the modern zombie I think they have to be dead and come back undead, so no heart beat type thing. That is my thoughts personally. Also I think the zombies need to want to eat flesh. The infected in the movie are neither undead nor after flesh. They are violent, full of rage...wait...that sounds like me...oh never mind. In the movies they are full of rage and just want to commit violence. They might bite people but it isn't to eat them it is because they are violent. That is my argument. I really dug the first flick, the second not as much, but the first one was pretty cool. I just don't believe they are zombies personally.
Now onto the best show on TV, The Walking Dead, and not only because it has zombies. The writing on the show is amazing. The acting is amazing. The effects are awesome. Everything is great.
I haven't read the comics yet, part of me wants to read them and the other part doesn't because I don't want to ruin anything that might happen on the show.
I want to make a few guesses as to what will happen the rest of the seasons, 3 episodes left.
1. I'm afraid that Andrea will not survive the season which makes me sad. I really like Laurie Holden, the actress, and the character of Andrea. She has gone through a lot of changes throughout the show. First as a strong woman, then after Amy died wanting to die, then wanting to kill every walker out there, then siding with Shane and then the Governor. Most people don't like her but I see her as a survivor who will go with the best chance of survival now. She has gone full circle and now she wants to survive and live. Look at her speech in Woodbury. I am afraid that she is going to sacrifice herself to save Rick from Phillip. If it happens it will be sad but I think her story has been great to watch.
2. Rick will come back from being crazy which makes me sad. I love crazy Rick a bunch because I believe that anyone would go crazy in the world especially with the stress that goes with being a leader. The phone stuff from earlier this season and seeing ghost Laurie is great. Also you've got the stuff with Morgan which was heartbreaking. I loved the interactions with Morgan and Rick this season and him returning to the show. The stuff was fantastic. However I do hate the fact that the Morgan character changes matches one of the characters in the book I'm writing. Morgan brought Rick back from brink which is cool.
3. I fear that Merle will also die at the end of this season which I'll hate. Much like Andrea I will really hate Merle leaving the show. I missed his character in season 2 and have really dug him coming back. The character is great being all raciest and mean and what not. I think he'll die at the hands of the Governor. I sure hope not but I get that feeling.
I have a zombie movie to watch with Levar Burton. Yes Reading Rainbow meets zombies!

Death Race 3 Movie Review
Living out in the middle of nowhere sucks especially in the
winter. Right now I am stuck in the
house as I can’t drive up to the road.
Instead of working I am sitting here watching movies. First up I decided to watch the third
installment of Death Race.
It was as bad as you expected. The acting is terrible, especially from the
star Luke Goss. Perhaps the point is for
the character of Frankenstein to be completely emotionless and that means I
missed the point. Some of the worst
acting I’ve seen and I’ve been a wrestling fan for 20 plus years. The co-stars are just as bad to be honest,
especially the navigator for Frankenstein.
Imagine you let Michael Bay direct a race movie and you’ve
got this. Horrible dialog, characters no
one knew, random scenes that have no explanation and fight scenes where you can’t
tell who is fighting who or why. That is
what you get.
I enjoy the Death Race series, especially the first
one. However I can’t say to see this one
unless…well…um…I don’t know why.
I should find something nice to say about the flick. I kind of enjoyed the Psycho character. The actor did the best he could with the
horrible script.
I usually like to say more good about a film but not so
much. Avoid this flick at all cost boys
and girls.

Book Review of Day by Day Armageddon Shattered Hourglass
This is the third book in the Day by Day Armageddon series. The book series went from a journal type book written like a blog to a well written (in my opinion) book series.
This is probably my least favorite in the series because it went in a direction I didn't care for. That isn't to say it is a bad book. I read it in about three true sittings. I really enjoyed it just not where I wanted to see the series go.
The book is broke up into several groups. You've got most of the original characters on an Aircraft Carrier. You've got the main character on a sub going to China. You've got three new groups as well. Remote Six is more than just a mysterious group sending text to Kil, our main character. You've got a group at the North Pole getting Ice Core Samples and you've got a group of soldiers that have taken over Hotel 23 from the first few books.
The one thing I will say about J.L is that I don't feel an emotional connection to his characters like in other books. His books come off almost like incident reports, perhaps due to his military background. In what should have been an emotional moment of the book I wasn't invested enough in the character to care.
I am not sure if that is a good or a bad thing either. One of the things I hate most is when a character dies that I am emotionally invested in. When Sturm died in the Dragonlance series I had a few tears and probably would now. Stephen King does it all the god damn time as well.
The story in this book is that Kil and the sub he is on are going to go into China to find what they believe is Patient Zero for this entire thing. The sub plots include Remote Six trying to get into Hotel 23 while the soldiers try to get it back up and running as it is the last nuclear missile in the US.
The major complaint I have is about the pacing. There are a few things that just suddenly happen and it felt like missing an episode of a TV show that builds on itself. Like missing 0500-0600 of 24. The storyline on the Aircraft Carrier is what I am talking about without spoiling anything.
Overall another good book that I enjoyed. Not the direction I would have taken the story, although an interesting one that I've thought about for my own zombie book. I'd give it a 3.75 out of 5 because it felt rushed. I will be returning to reading "Mutated" after this. Until next time....Abyssinia!
This is probably my least favorite in the series because it went in a direction I didn't care for. That isn't to say it is a bad book. I read it in about three true sittings. I really enjoyed it just not where I wanted to see the series go.

Raw review for 1-21-13
I missed the opening segment where Vicki Guerrero banned The Rock from the building and started the show with the first Beat the Clock match between Randy Orton and Antonio Ceasaro.
- Orton does the worst Thesz Press in history I think
- I don't like the idea of giving them the chance to pick their number, although I sort of want Ziggler to win and take number one and win. Sadly I'm betting Cena wins with yet another win over Ziggler
- I've liked the slow build for Antonio. Excellent usage of the US Title in my opinion
- The announcing has been 100% better since they've allowed Michael Cole to just announce and not be a bad guy
- Not a fan of Orton winning this match. There is no reason not to continue to give Antonio the rub of beating top guys
- Nice to see Zack Ryder used effectively
- Not a fan of where the Brad Maddox character has gone
- I do like Brad Maddox and Paul Heyman's interactions however
- Uggg, 3MB, really? They have X-Pac heat
- Ryback has lost a little bit of steam but still over. It'll be interesting to see what they do with him at the Rumble and Mania
- Worst looking fake cops in a while
- Sad when a WWE personality asks about illogic on the show
- Also sad when there is an obvious reason
- Time for some CM Punk
- I love CM Punk promos, because he is honest. Reminds me of Jericho a few years ago. Also of what Mick Foley said in his first book, a heel has to believe what he is doing and you can tell Punk does
- I hate that reports say that Punk is going to lose to the Rock at the Royal Rumble. Here is what I'd do
- I'd have Big Show win his title back
- I'd have Punk win his match
- I'd have The Rock beat up Heath Slater and take his spot (or have someone like Yoshi give it to him)
- I'd have Rock win the rumble
- On Raw I'd have Show talk about how no one can beat him, no one on Raw or Smackdown
- Have Cena come out and challenge him and get the win the belt
- Have Cena then talk about how he will take on all challengers
- Rock comes out and says they set a record last year lets do it one more time but for the title because he picks you John Cena
- Meanwhile Punk mocks Big Show and says unlike him he actually has beat all the major stars and there are no challengers left
- Time to play the game plays as Triple H comes out only to be destroy by Brock Lesnar setting up their match
- Following weeks Punk continues to talk about how no one can beat him and he has beat every WWE Superstar in every kind of match
- At the Elimination Chamber Punk wins by pinning all five men
- Punk says he won't even wrestle at Mania because what is the point...HE IS THE BEST IN THE WOR...blackness. Lights back up and there is Taker and he Tombstones Punk setting up their match.
- You've got Punk/Taker, HHH/Lesnar, and Rock/Cena II and it makes them all seem important and you continue with Punk keeping the belt. The big problem then comes at Mania with Punk/Taker. Perhaps a DQ finish but with Taker putting Punk in a casket or something like that building to rematch at the next PPV to send Taker on his year long vacation again
- That stuff isn't that bad and it was off the top of my head, imagine if I put some effort into it as a profession
- Miz vs. Ziggler in the Beat the Clock. COME ON ZIGGLER!
- Did King just call AJ a hooker?
- Why have they just dropped the AJ/Vicki/Ziggler storyline? Could have been interesting
- I don't believe the Miz can win a match unless it is against Ziggler
- As much as I hate face Miz he does seem rejuvenated
- AJ is so damn hot, only Brooke Tessmacher trumps her right now in my opinion
- Wow Miz just screwed up the Figure Four and almost any kid in his backyard can do that move
- Anger Management graduation! YES PLEASE! YES! YES! YES!
- Love D-Bry's combed hair and his beard is awesome!
- I never thought these two would be my favorites but they are. They are amazing
- Doctor Shelby is great in his role and getting his own chant. I don't know where they found him but its been perfect
- I love this stuff, its so goofy but just fun
- Starting to become a Kaitlyn fan, she has a unique look and style that I dig
- She does need a better finisher though, not a fan of the spear
- If I buy a ticket does that mean that I can go to the ring as well? I have a few things I'd like to say to Vince and his "creative team"
- The Shield attacks the Rock which means one man will lay out all three possibly. Where is Team Hell No? Randy Orton? Sheamus? Ryback? Doesn't make sense
- Surprised the Rock got laid out but just continues to make me believe that Punk won't get to Vegas with the WWE Belt
- Barrett vs. Sheamus in the last Beat the Clock?
- Did Cole just say that Sheamus would be the first man to win back to back Rumbles? I can't rewind but I know Hogan did 90 and 91
- I kind of wanted to see Sheamus give AJ the Brogue Kick
- Wow Cole just called the Blackhole Slam the Winds of Change, something they haven't done for a while
- I love that Vicki just screwed Dolph. Goes with my idea from above however
- Will the go with Punk getting stripped of the title instead of him getting pinned? Don't like either idea
- Are they really going to close the show with a Cena segment? Good grief enough is enough guys!
- Also didn't Vince lose his power earlier this year to Triple H?
- Alberto isn't a horrible face, not sure why the dropped the car gimmick
- Tensai getting the main event spot tonight! Way to go Fat Albert
- I like that Alberto has been using different moves to end matches. Very cool
- Richardo's bow tie is horrible
- Bob Backlund is going into the Hall of Fame. I really dug his heel turn in 94 and the match with Bret Hart when he turned was one of my favorites
- Also I love the Crossface Chickenwing finisher
- They need to take the mic away from Cena for a while
- They keep trying to make Cena a poor mans Rock, just stop him please
- Listen to the crowd.....and their silence. Are you listening to it Vince? It is obvious that people don't care.
- I think I'd rather have seen more of Tensai or perhaps a Santino match instead of this to close the show
- The Prime Time Players in the main event segment! AWESOME! Love these guys player
- This segment should have opened the show to set up the Beat the Clock and stuff like that.
- I like it to show how important the Rumble is but it shouldn't end the show!
- I hope they all beat up 3MB
- There was just some dude in the ring that I can't name. Perhaps it was Alex Riley
- JTG on Raw? Really?
- I still don't know who the guy was
That is it for Raw, until Wednesday Abyssinia!

Review of Real Steel (2011)
Due to insomnia I decided to watch the movie Real Steel from 2011.
I didn't see this in the theaters because it did not look good at all. It looked extremely goofy from the previews. Let me say I was extremely wrong. I found this flick to be pretty damn good. It was a little hokey with the whole father/son thing but I enjoyed it.
It wasn't a great movie by any means at all. I hated the little kid throughout the flick, especially in the early part of the film. He talked too tough for what seemed to be a spoiled rich type kid. I felt like the father, played by Hugh Jackman, would have just backhanded the kid. A little five across the eyes to quote Al Bundy.
I also didn't care for the addition of the love story between the father and a gym owner. Seemed sort of forced into it.
Last thing I didn't care for was the hint that the robot the father/son are fighting with is self aware but they never come out and say it.
What I did like was the robot fights. They did what Transformers tried to do but did it right. The fights looked good on this crappy old school TV so on the big screen they must have looked really good.
Hugh Jackman did an amazing job but of course went through a way too quick jerk to loving daddy transformation. I really liked the jerk father role at the beginning of the film.
Overall I enjoyed it. If you can get your hands on it and want a fun movie I'd say do it!

If you can't kill it with 30 bullets you're doing it wrong!
The biggest thing, politically speaking, right now is gun control. A month ago or so I talked about gun control and what I thought we should do. Tonight I am going talk about a more logical approach.
In case you haven't read my suggestions, the big thing was a thumb print reader so that only the owners could fire it. That is too expensive obviously so lets talk about realistic ideas.
These are just a few things, most of which the President has already outlined. However we will most likely not get them? Why you ask?
Because people don't want to have a logical unemotional conversation. Instead you have people comparing the President with Hitler. You have people going on the youtubes saying that they are prepared to kill people if they go after their guns.
It is sad that gun people, some gun people, don't want to bend in anyway shape or form. It is always "They're coming after our guns". I think the only people who said that were gun owners. I don't think anyone even implied that and if they did they are as far on the fringes as the nut saying they are going to kill people and start a civil war.
We need to have an actual conversation and until that happens nothing is going to change

- Assault rifle ban
- This seems like an obvious one to me. There is no reason to own an assault rifle as an everyday average citizen. Well none that yours truly can think of.
- I do understand the argument of what the 2nd amendment was meant for. So that we the people can fight the government if need be. However that doesn't mean that I can have a grande launcher or a bunch of RPG's does it? Can I weaponize plutonium and have a nuke? The government has them so I better to stop them. My point is a bunch of untrained, or even civilian trained "soldiers"are not going to stop the American Army. Just my opinion boys and girls, I could be wrong.
- A gun registry
- Every gun created should go on this registry.
- As they are taken from the factory to a store it is noted
- As they are sold it is noted
- If you buy a gun and sell it to someone else or gift it you take the person to a gun shop and transfer the ownership to the new person, like a car
- All ballistics are put into a database as well
- If a gun is stolen you best report it because you will be tried if your gun is used in a crime just like you would be if your car was
- Magazine limits
- A magazine for all civilians should be limited to 10 bullets.
- I realize that anyone who works at it can change a clip very quickly but they need to change a clip.
- Think about it, you'd need to carry 3 times as many clips to have the same amount of bullets
- Better mental health
- As someone who has had mental health issues (and some would say I still have them) I am a firm believer in this
- If it wasn't for free mental health screenings I wouldn't be here today
- I have no problem if I was in some database because of my past issues
- Better background checks
- If we did the stuff above it would make these easier
- Remove the gun show loophole
- Extend the period so that a proper check can be done
These are just a few things, most of which the President has already outlined. However we will most likely not get them? Why you ask?

It's a Wedding! Impact review for 1-17-2013
It is time for the wedding of the year because tonight Bully Ray marries Brooke Hogan. Here are my thoughts as they happen.
- Spike Dudley and Tommy Dreamer both are there as members of the wedding part and Spike had the taped up glasses which was cool. Sadly the tuxes aren't tie die Bully said.
- I say it almost every week I do these but I hate the crowd and their stupid chants
- Jeff Hardy retained his title over Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, so you have to wonder who will get the next shot. I'd like for it to be face vs. face with James Storm getting his shot however Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are out, so one of them might be getting a shot.
- Kaz just called the crowd butt-puppets...what does that mean? Daniels is getting a shot next week. With Hardy not being able to go overseas maybe they are going to put the title on Daniels for a month while they are overseas...I doubt it however.
- Looks like Bad Influence taking on Storm and Hardy tonight. Jeff is in more tag matches then he was when he was a tag team wrestler I think
- I never thought I would like Kaz but his team with Daniels has been some of the best stuff on TNA in my opinion
- I still don't like the three man booth and that Todd dude. Not enough Professor with him in the booth
- I miss Curryman, I wonder what happened to that guy
- That was a really nice flying clothesline off the apron. Hardy has been on his game lately, I'll give him that. Maybe he is healthy for the first time in a long time, I don't know what it is but he has looked really good
- Storm and Hardy win but I would have gone with Daniels pinning Hardy by doing something dirty. He is going to leave the champ laying but not as good as getting the pin.
- Joseph Park is on TV! Awesome!
- Gutcheck time. I didn't see last week so I can't say who I think should get the chance. I have seen Jay Bradley a few times but not Brian Cage that I remember.
- Cage is eliminated and now we hear from the judges to see if Bradley gets the contract. Taz says no right away.
- Bradley gets the contract. He is kind of goofy looking
- Is Christian York the only Gut Check winner to get TV time after winning?
- I don't like Kenny King, never have. I'm not sure what it is about him but I've just never connected with him
- York continues to look good and I continue to not like King
- Bully asks Sting to get Hulk to be at the wedding. I smell set up....probably from Brooke
- Taz and The Professor are both in Tux and Todd is in a suit. NO! Taz is leaving the booth
- Hogan is in charge and shows up an hour into the show? He really is a boss if he shows up late
- Paul Heyman jokes? Really? I guess that is to be expected with those four guys
- That Hogan/Sting segment was not good.
- Velvet Sky looks good tonight, although lots of make up
- Gail Kim has never really gotten a true chance to show what she can do
- The crowd is really quiet for this match. Most likely because they don't feel the outcome is in question
- Velvet wins as everyone thought. It was good while Gail was in charge not as much there at the end. Velvet isn't the best in the ring but she is the heir apparent
- 30 minutes left and its wedding time? This better be a major angle like everyone thinks it will be
- Austin Aries is one of the best heels going today. I'd love to see him and CM Punk together!
- Aries and Roode are pretty good together. Too bad Bully isn't a heel anymore, the three of them together would have been an excellent heel stable
- Really? Chavo with a mic? WHY?! I really don't see why he is getting so much TV time.
- So Bobby Roode is going to be in a tag team again? Not cool but it will keep him on TV perhaps
- The three brides maids look amazing! The Knockouts are just that, knockouts
- I can't say how excited I am that Archer is back for another season!
- No Hollywood for the wedding...or he is going to get his own entrance music....nope he jsut showed up doo-rag and all brother!
- Brooke Tessmacher has an amazing ass. Everyone already knows that but it had to be said
- I hate the crowd and their stupid ass chants!
- Why hasn't this been interrupted yet? Already too much "wedding" and not enough fighting
- Seriously? Are they actually going to just do a wedding? Is this the swerve that a wrestling wedding is going to be an actual wedding?
- Taz is the guy who interrupts this thing? Really?
- Taz is in Aces and Eights? Really? Reminds me of when he was in the heel stable a few years ago with Samoa Joe
- A complete let down!
Overall for a show that could have been a major show, much like Monday Night Raw, I feel completely let down.

Thoughts on the 20th Anniversary of Raw
Tonight is the 20th anniversary of Monday Night Raw! Here are my thoughts as the show is happening:
- Seeing Gorilla Monsoon in the opening made me miss hearing Bobby and Gorilla
- Cool that they are giving a mix of all the Raw openings
- Hearing all the old opening songs made the current one seem horrible
- Should have started the show off with the sound of glass breaking in my opinion, they are in Texas after all
- I miss the times that they had the announcers mic's turned off during the interviews. Michael Cole's "Wow" and their constant comments are annoying
- Dolph vs. Cena again? Why? They haven't buried Dolph enough?
- Vince's suit and tie are amazingly calm and subtle tonight
- I liked how they had Alberto Del Rio defeat the Big Show in the last man standing. The table idea was pretty cool
- I really want to see Show knock Mr. McMahon
- This is not how they should started the show. They needed to start the show with something hot, a quick big match, not talking
- Why wouldn't Big Show take a title shot? Makes no sense
- I like JBL but his announcing has not been good since returning months ago
- Okay Show's explanation of not taking the title shot makes sense, good job
- It does look like Show has lost a little bit of weight
- A Harlem Globetrotters reference by JBL...really?
- Nice to see the TNA Tag Team Champion Chavo Guerrero getting beat up
- The IC Champ doesn't even get an entrance? Really?
- Was that the worst Thesz Press ever? That was horrible Randy!
- Barrett vs. Orton, King of the Rear chin lock match
- Barrett with a clean win over Randy Orton?! I am shocked, really shocked. First time in a long time that WWE has surprised me with a match, and that is a good thing
- YES! More Team Hell No Anger Management sketches!
- Throwing in Damien and Cody makes this one of my favorite segments of all time
- YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
- Is it wrong that I want to see Sheamus Brogue Kick the mom in the K-Mart commercial
- Mick Foley is going into the Hall of Fame. If anyone deserves it is Mick! One of my personal favorites
- I like the Shield but not giving Mick a chance to celebrate getting into the HoF is not cool
- Why replay almost the entire segment?
- Instead of giving Mick his time it is now a Ryback interview? I don't like it at all and I like Ryback and the Shield but damn it I wanted a Mick Foley video!
- A gimmick package yet no Foley package? What ever!
- Eve Torres is ending her run with the company tonight it is being reported, which is sad, as she has been a great diva.
- Kaitlyn is the new Diva's champion, probably the best choice they have right now. Also nice that it is in her home town
- Did JBL just mention Disco Inferno?
- I hope this is the beginning of a Brodus character change. He should be a monster not a JYD rip off
- A really good match and shows how good both guys can be
- Sadly Punk is going to lose the title at the Royal Rumble even though they shouldn't take the belt off him
- I really missed the Rock N Sock connection. They have such great chemistry together
- An over the top rope challenge? These always appear come rumble time
- I seriously hate 3MB
- Another surprising win, 3MB with a win
- Again I seriously hate 3MB, not in a good way but in a get off my TV way
- Braden Walker mentioned on Raw. What is with all these references
- I really hate the face Miz
- Ric Flair, the man who burned a lot of his good will with the fans by being a general d-bag
- This entire segment has been a waste of time. No point at all other than to give Flair a pay day
- Did I just see Alex Riley on Raw? Oh it was in a video package, okay that makes sense
- Where is the Shield when I want them! They interrupt a segment that shouldn't have been interrupted and yet they let this one go on and on and on. Finally Antonio comes out
- Another horrible segment on a show that should have been huge for the company
- Didn't think about it till now, but Steve Austin wanting a piece of Tyson's ass....was that a jail reference? I'd assume Tyson was pitching not receiving
- Is D-Bry a face or heel? I don't get it at all. He of course is going to lose since Kane won earlier
- Moments ago Michael? Matt Stryker reported it nearly an hour ago. WWE needs to get their shit together
- Once again WWE has surprised meas D-Bry gets a win. That worries me that they will lose the titles at the Rumble
- Lots of kids in the audience tonight
- Another horrible segment with AJ and the weddings of Raw. Not a good show in my opinion thus far. Rather forgettable.
- I may no be a John Cena fan he made a kids day when he gives them his ring gear. That kid tonight will never forget tonight and that is why Cena will always be a superstar. Like him or hate him as a wrestler or whatever, he does so much for those who have so little. All respect for Johnny C as he called himself tonight
- Here comes the stupid dueling chants. I hate them all!
- The one time I wanted to be surprised by WWE I wasn't. A lot of people blame Cena but I blame the creative team that seems to believe that Cena can't lose
- Time for another Rock Concert, I think number 3
- Turn off the announcers mics damn it!
- No Undertaker, no Shawn Michaels, no Bret Hart, kind of disappointed that we didn't get more cameos
- Rock isn't really playing all that PG thus far
- Seriously I don't want to hear Lawler laugh anymore
- This is already starting to drag a bit for me
- Okay the line "Not the expensive kind" got me. While it is dragging the Vicki stuff was kind of funny
- "Hey look there is a fat fuck with a steelers jersey on the screen. Wait its me! YES!" - the fat fuck in a steelers jersey at Raw
- I kind of want one of those Knees to Faces shirts
An okay show for my first show back giving my thoughts. I hope to be back every week now that things in my life has settled down. Until next time...abyssinia!
