Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...whenever it is you have found this entry.  Today 2021-07-02, I am checking out the latest NXT UK.  I am behind don't the show so I do not know storylines or anything but it is wrestling and I love the stuff so enough chit chat I am ready to go to the UK!

• That is not Vic Joseph!
• Dawn looks like a character, looks very evil.  Put her with a very good heel like an that could be a decent combo!
• I like that Emilia did not just watch the splits that Dawn did all shocked and scared
• Kinda like a shining wizard by Dawn!
• No one in WWE should do a cutter, it should ONLY be Orton and those in a program with him
• What is with all the flips in wrestling into moves that do not make sense
• Good Emilia is not big enough to use a spear as a finisher
• Was Dawn trying to possess Emilia?
• Double knees for the win and it looked better than the V-Trigger in my opinion
• Old school UK wrestling with rounds and whatnot, interesting
• Starz with some nice escapes!
• Uggg, does Bate have a tat on his forearm now?  STOP GETTING TATS!
• These two are so smooth, almost too smooth as it seems like dance and not a fight
• BATE WITH A FALL!
• Nice backdrop which you do not see often!
• I love Nigel bringing up classic UK wrestlers including my favourite of all time William Regal
• A really nice counter to even up the match, a counter I do not remember seeing
• How are these two so good at their ages?
• I do not want to hear this promo, good grief!
• Nina has got herself into amazing shape!
• Why is Meiko smiling?
• I think these two were a team last night I watched, Amale and Nina
• Amale has REALLY white teeth
• I feel like Valkyrie and Dawn should be a team
• I always thought that having the long hair in your face would make wrestling harder but I guess not 
• Mila has some solid basics but seems unsure of herself.  I hope she gets to work a lot over there as I think she could have something as an actual female wrestler 
• That finisher will break your neck!  Good grief if you hit that wrong
• Kid seems to be favouring his one arm going in
• Kid really gets some speed on some of these moves
• Again no cutters allowed damn it!  Especially two in the same show
• Modified Perfectplex by Kid
• Kid with a modified triangle!  Kid is GOOD!
• Uggg, the Spanish fly is a horrible move and just looks like they are working together
• Now we have the exchange shots.  This main event is making like this show less (I wrong my recap/final thoughts before the main event was finished)
• OH GOD, THAT HEADBUTT!
• Too much for "TV"
• If this is not an injury angle for Kid it was WAY too much for "TV"

This might be the best modern show I have seen in a while.  I did not care for the main event as I feel like it was too much for a TV match, especially since you have the Takeover shows.  I liked that most of the matches were kept to a good time and showcased talent to build them up but not really killing their opponents.  If you took out the bad Eddie Dennis segment and the Amale/Meiko/Nina segment and I would have LOVED this should.

2020-01-02 NXT UK Review

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...whenever it is you have found this entry.  Today, 2020-02-09, I am checking out the first NXT UK of the decade, the show from 2020-01-02.  I do not follow NXT UK closely so I am not sure what is going on aside from Walter so let us go to the show!

• The theme music is horrible with a capital H!
• Yes my favourite guy on this roster, Mastiff is on!  
• Mastiff is my brother from another mother
• First look and I already hate Kona Reeves
• I want to see Mastiff and Otis tag together!
• How are guys like Mastiff and Otis so athletic?  
• Is Nivan a lumberjack or is she channelling Mick Foley?
• Why would Nivan give up her shot?  Makes no sense Toni
• Wow....I think Ohno has but on more weight.
• The ample midsection of Ohno
• This match has been brutal, Ohno looks like he is wrestling underwater.  He just walking around it is bad
• Mack is huge!  Look at that neck.  He looks like an action figure came to life
• Mack should be given the Bubba Rogers/Diesel bodyguard role.  Silent giant
• This music does not fit a babyface
• Why do most of these UK stars look like children
• I hate that jump off the top buckle and do a somersault thing that is done so often now.  I would love to see a guy like Sheamus just kick the persons head off as he stood up
• Look at Wolfe's chest
• Damn that Legsweep into a knee neckbreaker looked like it did break Dragunov's neck
•  That is just stupid.  Wolfe was obviously holding the chair
• This match is taking way too long and just illogical at times
• Dragunov selling of the hands is fantastic.  This match is taking way too long but the selling is good

The show really drug at the end for me.  These no DQ matches are just ridiculous when they do things like a chair to the throat and he keeps going.  Should not take 20+ minutes with kendo sticks, chairs, tables and other things.  I did like the Mastiff stuff and Ohno stuff with Big Dave.  However, the rest of the matches were just there for me.  Ohno looked bad and sluggish.  The tag match was an okay match.  Overall not a great show at all.  Hopefully, the shows pick up in the future!

2019-10-31 NXT UK

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...whenever it is you have found this entry.  Today I am check out the 2019 Halloween episode of NXT UK.  I will admit I am not up to date with the storylines or the characters but let us see what I think.

• I love me some Jazzy Gabert!  I thought she was the store of the Mae Young classic a few years ago
• This is why NXT is leaps and bounds above AEW.  All four of these ladies look like stars, can you say that about the AEW women's division?
• I already know more about these for women than most of the AEW roster because of the announcing.  Who would have thought the show with Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone would be the lesser announce team!
• Tell me that you would buy Riho against any of these four women!
• I do not like the dive in the opening women's tag match ut it is what people expect 
• Ripley will be a HUGE star on the main roster in a year for now given the chance
• How far has Ohno fallen?  He will always be a great vet but good grief remember when he was going to be the next big star
• Honestly, I think a good idea would be to put Ohno and Ceasar together as the Kings of Wrestling again since it appears Sheamus is gone for good
• A-Kid is on the smaller side but would be great on 205 I think
• Great heel move for Ohno!
• I love that Ohno is wrestling like a heel, it is rare today because everyone wants to be cheered
• I do not like that finish, makes it look like a fluke, although it appears they are going that route with Ohno, that he loses via flukes over and over again
• Well I hope Big Wavy is destroyed because he already annoys me
• Can I cheer for the ref because neither of these guys do anything for me upon first viewing
• That was weird looking driving the kid into the bottom buckle
• That was the first match I thought was just there.  Neither guy stood out or was anything "special" to me
• Who thought giving her a live mic was a good idea?
• Good grief this is bad
• I love Mastiff!  He is my brother from another mother!
• Oh, it is Finn Balor...wait...it is not?
• I love that NXT has heels that act like heels
• The way that Devlin is taking Mastiff down works perfectly.  It is almost the guys laying these matches out understand wrestling and it is not a video game
• Damn what a cutter!
• While Devlin is smaller it is still believable

Once again NXT does not disappoint!  Aside from the Conners/Johnson match every match felt important and every match delivered without having 40 superkicks, 30 dives and 20 false finishes.  Heels acted like heels, cheating when they needed too.  Rays interview started off rough but got better.  I am interested in who Killer Kelly is and how she is going to start a fight....although those slaps to her face were not very believable.  Overall an excellent show and one that makes me want to see next week which is the goal!
