Good morning, good afternoon, good evening....whenever it is you have found this entry. Today, 2020-03-27, we are going back to 1994 once again. This time we are going to the Smoky Mountains for the last SMW show of January. I am sure we will see some Jim Cornette, some Rock and Roll and others so to the ring!
- Spicolli and Candido, this could be good!
- Did Hugh Morris steal his tights from Spicolli?
- Young Spicolli was so good before his bad habits got to him
- Seriously you did not see this version of Spicolli as Rad Radford sadly
- Tammy could hold me Bob!
- Oh my god! Dennis is so bad it is good!
- This is when Corny was really starting to put on weight
- What in the blue hell is Dory wearing?!?!
- I am not looking forward to seeing the Bruise Brothers vs. Moondogs, not my style of wrestling
- How great are the RNR together with Corny? Amazing!
- RNR were not getting paid by the hour
- Dirty White Boy sure made it believable!
I am sure I sound bias but I am really enjoying SMW over ECW. ECW comes off as heavily edited for stuff and SMW seems mostly direct to tape. Plus, and maybe I am just an old school southern wrestling fan at heart and didn't know it, but I love the promos. They feel real. Take the ECW Public Enemy promo, that felt forced. Talking about the cops but in a weird sing-song voice. The wrestling is better as well. This is what I miss about wrestling!
