Movie Review: Cell

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...I am back with a new movie review.  This time I am checking out the flick Cell.  Over on IMDB as of 10/23/16 it has a rating of 4.3.  Based on the book by Stephen King of the same name.  "When a mysterious cell phone signal causes apocalyptic chaos, an artist is determined to reunite with his young son in New England."  It stars John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson and Isabelle Fuhrman.  It is a movie that has been in develop and distribution hell for years.  It was finally released to DVD recently.

  • This flick went straight to DVD, which surprises me with the cast
  • Its weird that in the copy I'm watching the credits block out part of the flick, wonder if it isn't a full copy
  • I'll admit, this is one of my favorite King books
  • Do people actually use those weird toilet paper cover things?
  • John Cusack is one weird looking guy at times
  • Interesting...it is anyone on their phones, not just talking on them; I can't remember how it was in the book, I just assumed talking
  • Gotta make sure you put the beanie on!
  • At this point I'd like to point out that these are not zombies people, I will punch anyone in the throat that says they are zombies or have rabies
  • Hmmm, I don't like that they are traveling in packs; very similar to 28 Days Later
  • Alice is too old...I think...I envisioned her much younger when I read the book
  • Well that is weird...communication between others groups?
  • They all have their heads down and are flocking up to keep warm, just like birds, like Alice said
  • Hive mind?
  • Stacy Keach, always a good actor
  • Charles Ardai/Stacy Keach has a great idea...to quote the Doctor....BURN WITH ME!

  • That is a horrible sound!
  • Bye bye headmaster
  • Shared nightmares, never good
  • What does it matter if they're Americans?
  • Just looked up Alice in wikipedia and in the book she was 15.  Glad I remembered that correctly
  • Nice; and people deny evolution
  • Good grief the Mass accent sounds so horrible!
  • He doesn't believe the son left that note does he?
  • Well that music was random and off
  • Well...well that ending was...well not what I expected
Well that was an interesting flick.  I can't say it was bad but it wasn't great either.  It felt...rushed...and like it was edited poorly.  Like huge chunks of the flick were left on the cutting room floor.

I give the flick a 6/10.  I enjoyed i and the story but again I felt like things were missing.  They could have skipped the entire school section and just had them run into Ray and Denise while they were torching the group they did.  Just felt out of place since it happened so quickly

I guess I felt it needed to be longer but then again that is the problem with Stephen King books turned into films, they have to cut out so much you feel robbed.

Overall not a bad flick but I can't say rush out to see it.  If you like the actors it is worth watching.  If you were a fan of the book....well I'll leave it up to you.  However I will say it was enjoyable.

Movie Review: Keeping Up with the Joneses

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...whenever it is you've stumbled upon my blog.  Today I'm review the new flick Keeping Up with the Joneses.  It stars Zach Galifianakis, Isla Fisher and Jon Hamm.  "A suburban couple becomes embroiled in an international espionage plot when they discover that their seemingly perfect new neighbors are government spies."  As of 10/24/16 it has a 5.4 on IMDB.

Overall I enjoyed this flick and I think that this deserves a higher rating.  I'd say a 7/10 personally. You had the excellent performances of the above mentioned stars, along with another Gal Gadot rounding out the main cast.  You then have great supporting cast like Kevin Dunn and Matt Walsh and the actor who portrays the Scorpion (I won't spoil this for anyone because I was a great surprise to me).

Let me just say here that I think Kevin Dunn is an extremely underrated actor.  He was one of the lone bright spots in the Transformers trilogy.  He was fantastic in Godzilla and Small Soldiers and Snake Eyes.  Honestly I know the movie will have at least one decent performance when Dunn is in the flick.

Back to the flick in question, it was your standard action comedy that seems to be the new norm. I personally found the flick to be very funny and I thought that Isla stole the flick.  I've not seen her in a lot of things but I thought her comedic timing was perfect.  She was the perfect mix of comedy, both physical and in delivery,  When you throw in that she is easy on the eyes, which is an understatement, she stole the show for me.

That isn't to say Zach wasn't his usual brilliant self.  He was excellent playing the average oblivious man.  The scene where Zach and Jon go into an underground Chinese restaurant was fantastic. Unfortunately for Zach a few of his best scenes were in the trailer but they were still funny.

As long time readers of this blog will know since the Hangover movies came out I have a strange relationship with one Zach Galifianakis.  Some people say that we look a like.  Most of those also say we sound a like.  That we talk, our cadence, is the same.  Apparently we sit the same.  Basically we are twin brothers from different mothers.....some people say that at least.  In this film his reactions were pretty much exactly what mine would be.  My lovely girlfriend was laughing as much at the fact that he was doing and saying what I would do as she was at the jokes.  I will throw this out to Zach one more time, if you need a stand in or someone to go to crappy media events you don't want to give me a call.  I'll even shave my beard and lose a little weight...and everyone knows I hate shaving my beard!

Overall this was a very enjoyable flick and I thought it was very funny.  The folks around me were laughing quite a bit as well.  If you need a fun flick to get you out of a funk, like we did after last week, this is a great choice!

The Walking Dead: Season 7 Episode 1

The Walking Dead returned today as Season 7 has begun.  Here are my thoughts as it happened boys and girls
  • Is that fresh blood?  Yeah that is fresh blood
  • Are they going to kiss?  I think they're going to kiss!  Negan and Rick...sitting in the tree...
  • WHO IS IT!
  • Rick ain't so tough!
  • This is all Ricks fault, three seasons of his bad decisions has lead the group to this point
  • I love that they are milking this.  I can feel people screaming on their couches, I know my lovely girlfriend is
  • MOTHERDICK!!!  But going out by saying "Suck...my...nuts" is the way to go out!
  • I am going to miss Abraham
  • I CALLED IT!  The way he was standing there with his back to him.  Goodbye Glenn
  • Chris Hardwick wasn't lying that we'd need therapy after this episode!
  • Can't completely blame Ricky boy for Glenn.  That one is on Daryl
  • That KFC commerical might be the worst of their commercials
  • Just when I didn't think commercials could be worse the Pizza Roll one was shown
  • How did dipshit Rick drop the axe?
  • I probably would have been snarky and said "your axe...sir"
  • Carl doesn't know what a south paw is?
  • Dotted line?
  • I LOVE NEGAN!
  • Did Rick become part dog?
  • Maggie has bigger balls then Rick
  • Why wasn't it Sasha?  I don't like her
  • Of course Carl put the stupid hat back on
Well that was interesting.  I did not expect two deaths.  I had thought they would have Maggie die to surprise us but they did not.  Abraham fell and that makes me sad.  I really liked his character but looking back at last seasons character arc it made sense.  I am sorry to see the character to fall as I love his sayings.  "Motherdick" and "Dolphin Smooth".  Plus his dynamic with Eugene was great.

Glenn however, I didn't care about.  I felt like his character had overstayed his welcome.  I felt his "death" back in the city with Nicholas would have been perfect.  They however kept him going for this death.  I understand that but I still felt his death was expected by this point.

They did an awesome job of Negan being this complete asshole yet I loved him.  He is PERFECT! Not as cool as the Governor but will end up being an excellent villain for seasons to come.

As I am typing this my lovely girlfriend is laying down on the couch with an upset stomach after the episode.  It amazes me how this show, and so many others, gets to the audience.  I am that way with Doctor Who so I understand.  It amazes me and shows how powerful this medium can be.

Well I have a kitchen to clean and the Talking Dead to watch.  Good night all!

Update:

They just showed a great recap of a few of "Glenns" greatest moments and my girlfriend is tearing up.  For the record I still get teary eye watching #10 regenerate and when Clara falls so I understand.

Book Review: Middletown Apocalypse

I recently found this book while looking for post apocalypse stories.  This was an interesting book.  It is written by 11 authors who all started with the same basic concept and went from there.  You get stories by Brent Abell, Shawn Chesser, Mike Evans, Joe McKinney, John O'Brien, Armand Rosamilia, Eric A. Shellman, Heath Stallcup, Mark Tufo, Jack Wallen and Jay Wilburn.

I was familiar with Tufo and McKinney.  I actually really enjoy Joe McKinney's zombie novels.  I will be hunting down more from Mike Evans and Shawn Chesser, I really enjoyed both of their stories.

The idea is that in small town middle America a bumbling (my word) student named Charlie Noble unknowingly unleashed the zombie plague.  From there everything was unique to each author.

It was interesting to see each one different yet a familiar setting.  I guess I should say that I enjoyed all the stories it is just those three, McKinney, Evans and Chesser stood out to me as something different.

There wasn't a story I didn't like, a few I wasn't super excited about but there wasn't a bad one in the bunch and this was a great idea.  I'd like to see more collections set up like this.  Give known authors a short story idea and let them all go wild!

Because of the format of the book I can't say a lot about each one because I don't want to favor one over the others really.  Plus the only thing I can say is the basic story idea.  You see some go into the military realm while others stay with the students.

Overall I enjoyed the book and if you're looking for some October fun this is a great book to pick up! 4 out of 5 stars!

Voting...

[NOTE:  This entry is going to be all over the place.  You've been warned]

For the most part I have stayed silent on politics recently because...well do we need more political comments?  However I found an interesting article/facebook post that kind of echoed what I've always though.

Mike Rowe, former host of Dirty Jobs, posted an excellent response to this question:

Jeremy Schneider writes...
Hey Mike, I have nothing but respect for you. Your no-nonsense outlook and incredible eloquence have really had a profound impact in my life. Can you please encourage your huge following to go out and vote this election? I would never impose on you by asking you to advocate one politician over another, but I do feel this election could really use your help. I know that there are many people out there who feel like there is nothing they can do. Please try to use your gifts to make them see that they can do something - that their vote counts.

I won't copy and paste his entire answer but you can find it here.

I think it is exactly the answer that this country needs to hear with this election.  Bear with me here as I explain my thinking here.  When I was a youngling I used to not understand the Electoral College. Each vote should count as one vote and not have this weird fake voting thing.

Then I started to get older, the Internet age became a thing, then social media...and I realized that I don't want the unwashed masses electing one of the most powerful people in the world!  I've read, although I don't remember where now, and heard, again I don't remember where, that some of the founding fathers didn't believe the general public had the knowledge to vote for President, and if they saw what we've become they'd believe that now for sure.  I don't know if that is true but I know some people wanted a complete general election while others wanted a congressional election so we got this system.

This point by Mike Rowe is almost exactly how I feel:
Regardless of their political agenda, my celebrity pals are fundamentally mistaken about our “civic duty” to vote. There is simply no such thing. Voting is a right, not a duty, and not a moral obligation. Like all rights, the right to vote comes with some responsibilities, but lets face it - the bar is not set very high. If you believe aliens from another planet walk among us, you are welcome at the polls. If you believe the world is flat, and the moon landing was completely staged, you are invited to cast a ballot. Astrologists, racists, ghost-hunters, sexists, and people who rely upon a Magic 8 Ball to determine their daily wardrobe are all allowed to participate. In fact, and to your point, they’re encouraged.
The undeniable reality is this: our right to vote does not require any understanding of current events, or any awareness of how our government works. So, when a celebrity reminds the country that “everybody’s vote counts,” they are absolutely correct. But when they tell us that “everybody in the country should get out there and vote,” regardless of what they think or believe, I gotta wonder what they’re smoking.
I wonder about that too.  I think the same thing about gun control.  I think it was Jim Cornette, on his podcast, who said about guns, and I'm paraphrasing here.  Go sit at the mall for an hour.  How many of those people do you want to have automatic weapons.  I think that about voting...and breeding for that matter...and driving...and...I'm off track here.

My point is that we don't want a general election because the average person isn't informed enough to make these decisions.  And if I'm being completely honest I don't know if I am or anyone is!  In the age of the 24 hour news cycle, with TMZ, the Onion and all these other fake news organizations how do you wade through the bullshit for the actual truth.

Why do we hear so many more negative articles about Trump?  Is he worse then Hillary or is it because he heard all of Hillary's dirty laundry in the 90's when Bill was in office?

Then we have this outcry from Hollywood about voting every four years about how EVERYONE has to vote...but it is often followed by...for my candidate.  If they really cared about voting they wouldn't be doing it the way they do.  They wouldn't be preaching about how evil this person is...now everyone go vote.

I haven't really said how I'm voting...if I'm voting even.  That is no ones business but my own.  That is another thing that bugs me.  It is NO ONES business if I vote or not and why I came the decision that I made.  It is a right not an obligation.  It is a right I can exercise or decide not to.  You can argue that people lost their lives for that and you're correct but do you think they then wanted to force people to vote?  Shame people to vote?  I am not beholden to vote by anyone or anything but myself. I have in some elections and not in others.  As Rowe put it:
Look at our current candidates. No one appears to like either one of them. Their approval ratings are at record lows. It's not about who you like more, it's about who you hate less. Sure, we can blame the media, the system, and the candidates themselves, but let’s be honest - Donald and Hillary are there because we put them there. The electorate has tolerated the intolerable. We've treated this entire process like the final episode of American Idol. What did we expect?
So no, Jeremy - I can’t personally encourage everyone in the country to run out and vote. I wouldn't do it, even if I thought it would benefit my personal choice. Because the truth is, the country doesn't need voters who have to be cajoled, enticed, or persuaded to cast a ballot. We need voters who wish to participate in the process. So if you really want me to say something political, how about this - read more...
Remember - there’s nothing virtuous or patriotic about voting just for the sake of voting, and the next time someone tells you otherwise, do me a favor - ask them who they’re voting for. Then tell them you’re voting for their opponent. Then, see if they’ll give you a ride to the polls.
Remember - there’s nothing virtuous or patriotic about voting just for the sake of voting,  I wish I could have put it that way.  If you truly support a candidate I say do EVERYTHING to get them elected...legally...unless you're in Chicago...then well we know how you guys work.

Seriously though if you honestly support a candidate get out there for them.  Knock on doors.  Hang posters.  Make phone calls.  Donate money.  Donate Time.  However, and this is my opinion only, don't support someone because you dislike them less then other person.  That is what this is about...again in my opinion.  That isn't to say that I haven't done it.  I voted against George W. Bush in 2004 even though I didn't support John Kerry.  I felt wrong about it after actually and regret doing it.

I am sure many of you disagree with what I've said here.  Many people disagree with me and that is what is great about this country...you can.  However I ask that you look deep down and vote with your mind not your heart.

I am not nearly as articulate as Mike Rowe was in his post.  Read it.  Then look yourself in the mirror and ask if you're voting for your candidate for the right reason.

Movie Review: Night of the Living Deb

Today I'm reviewin the horror comedy (which is really a weird genre isn't it) Night of the Living Deb. It stars Maria Thayer, Syd Wilder and Ray Wise.  "After a girls' night out, endearingly awkward Deb wakes up in the apartment of the most attractive guy in Portland, Maine. She's thrilled, but she can't remember much of what got her there. Pretty boy Ryan only knows it was a mistake and ushers her out the door... into a full-scale zombie apocalypse. Now, a walk of shame becomes a fight for survival as the mismatched pair discovers that the only thing scarier than trusting someone with your life... is trusting them with your heart."  I found this just looking for something to watch on Netflix.  I wasn't in the mood for straight horror (my lovely girlfriend wanted to watch Lights Out) but I was looking to laugh.  We both got what we wanted.  Now lets go watch the 2015 horror comedy!
  • Well that was a pretty bad opening to a flick
  • not sure if the director from Monsters Inc is the best first thing
I feel slightly bad making his comparison
  • Did I just see her pooping?
  • She might be the most awkward person in the world...very nice
  • Did she just call her a Fraggle...nice
  • The raven haired chick is a BITCH
  • Goodbye to the cats?
  • What is up with her shorts?
  • Why does her car say Otis?  Wait...is it her car?
  • Right to the zombies...with kid zombies...weird
  • This idiot chick thinks it is the parade?  Really?
  • Well it is filthy outside, Ryan is correct
  • Do they really still make shower radios?
  • That phone is pretty ancient
  • Deb has a big cleft in her chin
  • Okay the Coconut joke was good
  • Did they just use the clapper?  AWESOME!
  • These people are not quiet, its awesome
  • Strangely I like this chick
  • The acting is so uninspired at times in this flick it is awesome
  • Ray Wise is AWESOME!
Honestly I got wrapped up in this film.  Was it Citizen Kane?  No...and that is a good thing...I hated that flick.  But honestly after Wise showed up I kind of just watched the flick which didn't make for a good review I realize.  However let me go from here.

The flick was much better then I expected and I really enjoyed the performance of Maria Thayer.  She had EXCELLENT comedy timing and I'm tempted to check out other stuff this young lady has done....so much so that I just tried to find Eagleheart and Those who Can't.  Her delivery as the bumbling female lead was fantastic.  Honestly, this movie would have been horrible without her.

MILD SPOILERS BELOW!

With all due respect to the rest of the cast this young lady made this flick watchable!  Well that and Ray Wise...who is great in everything.

This flick was honestly picked out expecting a trainwreck but it wasn't horrible.  It could have been much worse.  I hate to knock an actor but Michael Cassidy was horrible in this flick.  He was extremely flat in his performance and his delivery.  I didn't believe that he had ANY emotion.  I honestly have more emotions on a tech call at 5:55am with a user who forgot the password they created 5 minutes before calling me!

The storyline is stupid beyond the basic idea of the water turning people into the Undead.  I mean the idea that these people were that stupid was just dumb but again Maria and Ray and Chris Marquette (who was okay as the dumb brother) saved this flick.

I give it a 6/10 only for Maria's performance.  I honestly can't say enough how great her timing was. She was perfect in this role!

So if you want to see excellent comic timing among one of the flattest performances put on film (yeah sorry Michael Cassidy [not sorry]) check this flick out.  If you want a great flick check something else out!  Until next time...abyssinia!

Movie Review: Deepwater Horizon

Over the weekend I was finally able to go see the flick Deepwater Horizon.  It stars Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell and Douglas M. Griffin.  "A dramatization of the April 2010 disaster when the offshore drilling rig, Deepwater Horizon, exploded and created the worst oil spill in U.S. history."  As of 10/10/16 it had a rating of 7.6 on IMDB.

I'll start off by saying I agree with the rating and gave it a 8.  I really enjoyed the flick and don't have a lot of bad things I can say about it.  The biggest complaint, and this isn't a huge one, was the inclusion of Wahlberg's family.  I understand it was done to add to the drama but it didn't really add much to the flick in my opinion.  One could argue it made him feel more human but for me I felt like it was added to tug at my heart strings, which I didn't need at the end.  11 men lost their lives, and not the person that Wahlberg played, I think it would have had more impact there but I understand you also have to go with star power.

As far as everything else, I really enjoyed this flick.  The acting was fantastic, and if you look at the cast one shouldn't be surprised there.  Wahlberg is good at what he does and this is the kind of flick he is really good in.  A sarcastic tough guy.  I don't mean that as a bad thing, he is fantastic in most of his roles because he picks them wisely.  And what can someone say about Kurt Russell.  He has been doing this for what....60 years?  Something like that.  They are both amazing in what they do.  The rest of the cast was amazing as well just those two stood out along with a great subtle performance of Ethan Suplee, who usually plays the larger than life characters

Now about the topic of the film.  It was a tragedy that it happened and made worse that 11 men lost their lives.  It was the result of corporate greed, most likely.  Based on the movie it is unclear if Vidrine and Kaluza worked on their own or if they were pressured from above to get this project back on track.

However I will say that their thinking was correct from what was shown in the movie.  I honestly believe that this was a case of people cutting corners because the facts given showed they could.  I could be wrong because I know jack and shit about it but that is my conclusion from the info shown in the flick.  I don't for one second believe that anyone would have done what they did if they knew that was going on some 3 or 5 miles below them.

Overall worth checking this flick out and I kind of wish I had gone to the Imax showing given how large it was.  Worth seeing in the theater because of the big budget explosions.  Wouldn't be the same unless you have a large screen and surround sound.

Book Review: 900 Miles (900 Miles #1)

Today I'm reviewing the book 900 Miles (900 Miles #1) by S. Johnathan Davis

I didn't know what to expect from this book.  I found it with a bunch of other zombies books and needed something different.  I hadn't read a zombie book for a while as I had concentrated on other books.

I say this in a good way, but it was written in a very simple straight forward way.  After reading a lot of Stephen King and other large novel authors it is nice to not to have to read a chapter to know what color the dress on a woman cross the street was.

The book itself was nothing special and standard zombie stuff, which isn't a bad thing.  It had what you find in 95% of zombie books.  Someone trying to get to a loved one.  Humans are actually the enemy.  Big cluster fights.  You know standard fare.

I could see where the author was trying to do things slightly different but at the end of the day it is hard to find an original idea when it comes to the zombie motif.  With all the movies and books a lot of it has been done before.

I think the the biggest downfall was that I didn't relate to any of the characters and I think it is because there wasn't much build up of the characters themselves.  They were just there to me.  Also the action just kept coming with no lull really.  I understand this idea however.  As someone who has tried to write a few of my own zombie stories I know that you don't want the story to be boring so you think I've got to have one battle after another after another.  Which lets be honest, is realist in a sense if this did happen, but lacks storytelling at time.

That isn't to say that I hated it.  It was right there middle of the road.  I enjoyed it for what it was but, and again this isn't meant as an insult, I wasn't going to be reading the Hobbit or IT.

If you enjoy zombie books, or are looking for quick easy enjoyable read this isn't a bad choice.  I'm going to see if I can hunt down the second one just to see where the author goes.

Book Review: Armada

I have enjoyed both of Ernest books.  Perhaps it is the nerd in me and the many nerdy references.  I am sure that is part of it.  But part of it is the writing style.  It is simple...and I don't mean that in a bad way.

Years ago I was accused of "writing like I talk" and I feel that way here as I read the story.  It felt more like a transcript of an oral story rather then a novel.  As much as I like Stephen King he often takes paragraphs to say what could have been said in two lines.

Both Ready Play One and Armada had good pacing without feeling rushed and I enjoyed the story in both.  Nothing ground breaking or anything like that but just good solid story telling.  I didn't care for the ending but no matter which directly it was taken I think I would have disliked it.

I also think I liked this book because it hit close to home.  I related to the Zach character.  As a young man, like most who lose a parent, I used to dream of my dad coming back.  Being a secret agent or in hiding from the mob or something!  Of course stuff like that rarely happens in real life but a boy can dream right?   I also have what some would call an anger issue so I understood the Zach character more then some might have.

There were issues with the story I didn't like.  The Lex character seemed a little stereotypical and a few of the other "politically correct" items seemed slightly forced/didn't add much to the story.  I guess it just kind of took me out of the story instead of showing "real people" which I think was the point.

Overall I really liked it, 4/5.  The few things above is all that stopped me from giving it 5/5.  Check this out for a quickish fun read.

Movie Review: Grizzly Man

Today I'm checking out the documentary Grizzly Man.  "A devastating and heartrending take on grizzly bear activists Timothy Treadwell and Amie Huguenard, who were killed in October of 2003 while living among grizzlies in Alaska."  I've checked this flick out before but I'm returned to it again.

  • Yeah, this guy is normal
  • Hey I do that too!  There is nothing like scratching your back against a tree/door jam
  • How clinically insane was this guy?
  • Hey stylized himself as Prince Valiant?  That explains the hair!
  • He knows the language of the bear?
  • Four garbage bags of "people"
  • This pilot is right in my opinion, not real smart on Tim's part
  • Why send hate mail....oh it wasn't sent to Tim I guess, just to the ecologist in general
  • This fox footage is amazing, playing with the tent
  • Love that he is mad about the fox stealing his hat
  • I have no desire to get into the bears "world"
  • Jewel Palovak is very weird looking...this is a weird scene...getting a dead mans watch
  • Werner Herzog is a horrible narrator!
  • Amy isn't suppose to be on camera, it wasn't her story throughout the footage
  • The coroner is REALLY creepy...which isn't surprising given his job
  • Why would you want to listen to that?  Why?
  • Watching those bears fight just once is all it would take for me to not be out there.  Imagine what they could do to a human...There is nothing you can do to stop that....nothing
  • He had a pet squirrel?
  • Who goes and watched people get sentenced?  What a bunch of weird people!
  • I wonder if his life had been different had he gone on medication like his doctor suggested
  • The man is insane...he just binged that bears nose!
  • Thank god they didn't play the audio of the attack
There you go, the man was insane.  I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but he was.  That doesn't mean he was a bad person but he was chemically imbalanced, as a person who has an imbalance myself, I can see it in people sometimes.  The irrational hatred of things or people (see the scene where he loses it on the park service).  The extreme highs and lows.  I honestly believe that if he had taken his medicine he would be alive because he would have seen he was risking his life over and over again.

That isn't to say that he wasn't dedicated to a cause and I respect those who are but he risked his life and the life.  He also gave a very poor message that wild animals aren't to be respected.  The museum employee implied that and I believe it as well.

Don't think that I am saying that he should have died because I don't believe that.  He should be alive and still fighting for the safety of bears and their homeland.

Overall I think it is a very good film but I am sorry that he man had to lose his life to get his message out.
