The Walking Dead: Start to Finish

It is time for the mid season finale.  Last week the we found out that Glenn was NOT dead and he and Enid are heading back to Alexandria.  Rick and company are working on building up the walls when the church collapses...right into town.  The wall is down and the herd is in.  What is going to happen? With no way out, Rick and the people of Alexandria must defend the community against the invading herd.  Lets find out!

  • I hope Carl loses that stupid hat!
  • You have to wonder who dies?  Rosita and/or Tara and/or Ronnie are my picks
  • How old is Sam I wonder
  • What is up with the ants....oh I get it
  • I am pretty much over Star Wars at this point!
  • Don't fuck up on me tonight Comcast Internet streaming!
  • That walker is AWESOME!
  • Is Ronnie still going to kill Carl?
  • When did Maggie becomes so bad at surviving?  Does having a baby in the belly make you stupid?
  • Oh Eugene....be careful
  • It was Eugene?!?!
  • Thank God Deanna is pointing them to everyone!
  • I really want to see Krampus!
  • I still don't trust Enid
  • Did Carol hurt herself?  Oh just a head wound
  • I kind of like "W Man" as the CC said
  • Uggg, that is gross!
  • I wonder...will he kill the doctor?
  • Well there is that....
  • Rick got another person killed, way to go leader
  • How did Deanna not know what happened?
  • YES!  RONNIE!  TELL THAT BOY THE TRUTH!
  • OH SHIT!  I thought he was going to open the garage door
  • And the house is not compromised.  Way to go Ron and Carl
  • Flight of the Dead:  OH SHIT!  Dem Eyes
  • OH DEAR GOD NO!
  • Throw Deanna out the window to distract the walkers
  • They are all your people Rick...all 4 of them you haven't got killed
  • How great is Eugene's hair!
  • Well this could be a very bad idea...
  • Really nice editing in this episode, going from group to group
  • What happened to the Alexandrian who Tara and Rosita helped up.  The one with Rick fixing the wall
  • You can create a chock point on the stairs
  • The guts trick?
  • Come on Morgan!
  • I didn't see the Doctor in the PPZ preview at all
  • Well that is gross!  I'm with Father Gabriel
  • I don't think Sam will be very good with this
  • GO MORGAN!
  • What about Judith?  Cover her in guts?  Hid her in the attic?
  • And there is the title of the episode
  • Make it all pretend?  Does that work?
  • Well shit...none of these plans are working out very well
  • So far my predictions have been wrong
  • Man that takes nerves of steel!
  • THERE WAS MY FAVORITE WALKER!
  • Wow they are really pushing Into the Badlands with TWD
Well that was interesting.  I was wrong on who I thought would die.  I didn't even think about Deanna!  Denise is basically dead too.  Carol might have a broken back for all we know after that bitching Backdrop Suplex by Morgan.

Overall very interesting.  We have a baby and a kid covered in walker guts along with two boys ready to kill each other and a preacher man who is scared to death of everything

Maggie is trapped on a dangerously rickety platform while Enid and Glenn are foolishly trying to get back into town.

One of my thoughts was that Ronnie was going to open the garage door and kill both of them.

Also when did Carol and Maggie become horror movie starlets, randomly falling down and where the fuck has Heath been since he got back to town?  He gets back and disappears along with Aaron and his boy toy

Not what I expected from the mid season finale.  But a lot of questions with very few answers!

Doctor Who: Heaven Sent

Last week was a hard one for the Doctor.  Clara died last week and the Doctor was captured by some unknown people.  What will the Doctor find out?  Is Clara really dead (I hope not!)?  We'll find out as we watch "Heaven Sent"
  • I think I want Peter to do the voice over to my life when I die!
  • I wonder, is this like a game/test conceived by someone?  Testing to find "the one"
  • THIS IS THE DOCTOR I'VE WANTED FROM DAY ONE!!  Vengeful and angry.
  • Don't listen to Clara, not this time
  • A game of cat and mouse?
  • Are those flies or dirt?
  • Why is the doctor now running?
  • Flies
  • It is a game of some kind
  • Oh not that is messed up!
  • Is that skin?
  • Die faster?  BRILLIANT!
  • Clara?  WHAT THE FUCK!
  • Oh now this makes sense, brilliant!
  • Was that the Clara theme?  Not cool
  • They may have seen that coming actually...
  • Is he stuck in his own groundhogs day?  Doing the same thing over and over again till he gets it right?  Saves Clara?
  • The Doctor knows what this is he said right?  So he should know how to beat it unless it is death which he secretly fears most
  • The Doctor is a little like a dog or a kid.  Always touching and licking things
  • JUMP SCARE!
  • Digging your own grave Doctor?
  • I.  AM.  IN.  12?
  • I am loving this episode
  • Is he on Gallifrey?
  • This better not be River or something stupid like that!
  • It is Groundhogs day.  They are looking for something specific...where the hybrid is?
  • Why do have a tear in my eye with just that one line from Clara?
  • Too injured to regenerate?
  • Of course!
  • The TARDIS left that message?
  • Wait...why isn't that regenerating/reverting back to factory
  • Of course that is what is in that thing
  • Wait...is River the hybrid? Half Time Lord and Half Human?
Well that was really good!  Peter was brilliant in this episode.  I think maybe my favorite Doctor Who performance to be honest.

As always you can pick apart the episode.  Obviously the harder then diamond thing should NEVER break from being punched and why wouldn't that regenerate like everything else.

Also I am pretty surprised that I was correct where he ended up.  However it has been nearly 2 years since he was going "home".

However I have a feeling this will be bringing back one River Song (since we know she is back for the Christmas Special).  I am not a fan of that!  I don't think it will be the return of the Clara since she isn't a hybrid.  We know from the preview that Ashildr returns yet again but she isn't really a hybrid time lord so it has to be River right?

I have avoided spoilers so I have no idea what Christmas will be bringing the Doctor this year other then an adventure with River.

Watch this episode!  I loved it.

TWD: Heads Up

Rick and company returns this week in Heads Up.  From IMBD:  Alexandria is finally able to begin pulling itself back together; peace is embraced between the two groups.  What does that mean? Between two groups?  What groups?  Wolves?  Someone new?  Who knows!  Lets go find out!

  • Glenn?
  • This is a big fuck you to the fans man, total bullshit!
  • Enid, the Wolf, is back too?  Not liking this episode at all
  • Good thing there isn't a shit ton of walkers around.  Be as loud as you want Glenn
  • Yeah Rick, you're plans have worked out well for you
  • Looking like Lori...and Shane
  • Wow Rick, you're kind of an asshole you know.  Had Deanna listened to Gabriel people would still be alive
  • SHUT UP CARL!
  • Again...SHUT UP CARL and take off that stupid fucking hat
  • Burned people alive?
  • Blood does not equal death Rick, too bad everyone doesn't believe that "all life is precious"
  • They are really using the Dead to push Badlands
  • Yeah, it worked well before guys
  • Is the church going to fall and let the dead in?
  • Need to have more Eugene!
  • Rosita is all grown up!  She is hardly the little kid on Ned Bigsby School Survival Guide
  • How are there not more walkers around?
  • Flight of the Dead...and they found a bite.  Zombies on a plane would SUCK!
  • When did Glenn become a badass?
  • ENID BURN!
  • So they are starting to break through that area and they then POUND on the that section?  YOU'RE AN IDOIT RICK!
  • Why leave the tank in the shrubs where you could get snuck up on?
  • Ronnie getting bullets is not a good thing!
  • That is a lot of walkers
  • Well Tara just did what more people should be doing to Rick.  A big FUCK YOU
  • How great is Morgan?
  • There is nosey Carol at it again, and lets take a baby along
  • Carol is going to Sam into the next crazy Lizzie
  • Is Ronnie going to kill Carl?
  • What is with the church and shit?
  • There is your sign Maggie
  • The end of Alexandra!
First off let me say that Glenn being alive is bullshit.  The backlash could be bad.  You can't mess with fans emotions like that.  It'll be interesting to see how respond.

I am really interested in next week.  The wall falls, Ronnie has a gun, a wolf is still among them.

Overall a very good episode that showed the town come together just in time for the wall to fall.  I assume last weeks "help" was from Alexandria, maybe Ronnie but it sounded like Aaron to me. Where do they go from here?  Do they rebuild the wall...if anyone survives.

Until next time, merry Thanksgiving everyone!

Doctor Who: Face the Raven

The Doctor is back in Face the Raven.  Rigsy returns this season and he has run into a bit of bad luck. A death sentence.  We see the return of "Me" aka Ashildr.  I have a bad feeling about this episode.

  • No really sure about this kid returning.  He was annoying in the shadow monster episode last week
  • We are getting closer and closer to the end of Clara's story...and that makes me sad.  I wonder if the Ood will sing her to sleep
  • The sonic glasses are growing on me
  • Was that Gallifreyan?
  • I LOVE Clara!
  • A trap street...interesting
  • Uggg, Ashildr is back?  I don't like her
  • JADOON!!
  • A Sontaran?
  • The Cyberman AND an Ood?
  • This is the Doctor's fault, he created Ashildr.
  • Ashildr's hair is AWFUL!
  • Oh no....Clara....no
  • Rigsy is kind of weird looking
  • Well that was weird
  • Oh no, she now has the key to the TARDIS!
  • No, I'm not ready.  I'm not ready for Clara to be gone
  • I like this angry Doctor!
  • No no no no no!  Sad Clara theme....NO!
  • She was suppose to be reunited with Danny!  She was suppose to end up happy with Danny somewhere.
  • Goodbye you impossible girl you.  Maybe there is going to be a call from the great governor of the Universe.  There is still a chance.
  • Don't watch Doctor!
  • She was brave...is that what the Raven wants.  "They always run" the one said.  Maybe that is the trick, there is always a trick!
  • Wait....yes....no!...Goodbye Clara
  • RAIN DOWN HELLFIRE AND BRIMSTONE DOCTOR!
Nothing to say here.  She is gone and I am sad.  I am sad that her story ended this way.  I know not every companion can't have a good ending but I didn't want this to be the end of her story.  Rose got her Doctor.  Martha got Mickey.  Donna got her husband.  Amy and Rory lived together till the end. Clara, she got this.

Also I hate Doctor Who because it makes me have feelings for fictional characters...of course I love the show for the same reason.  I had heard the rumors of it not being a happy ending for Clara but I had hope.  That it was a lie.  But it wasn't.  I am now sad.

This is a very sad fat man signing off.  Goodbye Clara!

The Walking Dead: Always Accountable review

The Walking Dead returns this week with Always Accountable.  After being attacked by a new group and separated, Sasha and Abraham must search for an injured Daryl who may be in trouble.  We have a few more episodes before the Christmas break so I doubt we find out about Glenn.  My guess it will be before the break but that is just a guess.  I think that is still the big question, where/what is Glenn. My guess is that he is a walker at this point.  But enough of that, it is time to get to this weeks episode!

  • How does this plan work?  Why won't they just keep following the sound?
  • Wolves?
  • And Daryl falls next
  • Looks like a little bit of Road Rash there Daryl
  • Those aren't Wolves I don't think
  • Yeah the end of the world is going to suck for Diabetics
  • Interesting that Sasha is being the smart one
  • I'm worried for Abraham in this episode suddenly
  • And I just jumped a bit
  • "Loose ends make my ass itch"
  • Wolves?  Negans group?  Someone else?
  • Guess it is better then turning
  • How is ANYTHING left after all these years?
  • Shit...after this speech Abraham is doomed.
  • Wait...Abraham...Rositia...remember
  • Human nature is right
  • How did they think they weren't walkers? COME ON!
  • No good deed goes unpunished
  • Help?
Well not a whole lot happened this week did it?  Much like last week the show seems to be slowing down after a hell of a start.  I like it.  Gotta go up and down, like a rollercoaster.  Play it at an 8 then a 3 then a 7 then a 4 then a 10.

While nothing happened it once again builds toward more.  Leaves more questions then answers and that is good writing.  Excellent acting.  This show is better and better every season as the writers and then actors get a grip on the characters.

Not a lot to say really.  Overall a good episode.  Nothing outstanding, noting horrible.  Good.  That is what they needed after the start of the seasons.  Bringing us back down to a 4 or so.

The question is what is going to bring us back to that 8 or 9 before the season break?  More deaths?

Doctor Who: Sleep No More review

Good morning, afternoon or evening, whenever it is you're reading me.  Tonight the Doctor and Clara return in Sleep No More.  "Vision recovered from the wreckage of Le Verrier Space Station shows how the Doctor and Clara became entangled in a rescue mission. As the footage plays out, a horrifying secret is uncovered."  I don't know if they can follow up after the Zygon episodes but lets find out shall we!

  • The Ring vs. The Doctor?  Watch out for a creepy girl Doctor!
  • Oh no, it is more Paranormal Activity meets Doctor Who
  • Clara?  Where did Clara and the Doctor come from?
  • I love the psychic paper!  Now all we need is the return of the screwdriver
  • And the running has started.  8 minutes in...not bad
  • Those aren't Zygons that is for sure!
  • Wait...how did the pod grab Clara?
  • Is this Back to the Future suddenly?
  • I love angry Doctor!
  • They mostly come at night....mostly
  • Chopra reminds me of the kid from the Satan Pit episodes
  • Changes the fundamental chemistry?  Yeah that's not a problem I'm sure
  • Sleep dust?  Really?  Well that isn't great
  • The song?  Good grief
  • Deep sure isn't much of a singer
  • Wow those monster costumes aren't much are they?  Throwbacks to the old Doctor Who
  • Wait what just happened?  What happened to Rassmussen?  Chopra and 474?  I'm confused
  • Sleep isn't an inconvenience it is AWESOME!
  • Why haven't they taken a shot yet?
  • The Gods have NOT looked favorably upon these folks
  • Sandmen?
  • Are they all in the Pods?  OH MY GOD THEY ARE!  Is this the Christmas episode all over again?
  • They can't see?  But they found Rassmussen easily didn't they?
  • So this is how they write Clara off the show.  Clara the Sandman
  • If they aren't in the Pods is Rassmussen the next evolution of the Sandmen?
  • I'm back to my theory that they are in the pods
  • And I'm once again wrong
Wait...I'm confused!  So did the video get out?  Do we all die in the 38 Century?  Or did the Doctor get down and destroy all the pods before hand?

Well that was a weird episode?  I feel like it was right there in being a good episode but was missing something.  Oh right a coherent plot!  I'm disappointed in Mark Gatiss, the writer, as he is next in line most say to be the next show runner.  But looking back I'm not a fan of most of his episodes.

I didn't like the acting, the random "facts" but not explaining anything that Doctor Who is famous for but good grief there were several in this once.  The plot didn't quite make sense and I feel like they didn't have a proper ending so just left it with this vague bullshit.

After two excellent episodes this was a let down.  But there is always next week right?  Until next time....RUN!

The Walking Dead: Now

The Walking Dead returns this week with "Now".  As Alexandria recovers from the Wolves' attack, Maggie and Aaron set out in the search for Glenn. Meanwhile, the intimacy between Rick and Jessie grows, as the herd approaches.  Wonder if we'll get a resolution to Glenn and Rick?

  • Rick?  How'd Rick get out of the RV?  And why run back to town?  Hasn't he killed enough people?
  • Yeah Rick start yelling, that'll help matters
  • Really Aaron?  Half of them are gone but at what cost?
  • Oh no it wasn't your fault Aaron, its the world you live in now
  • Oh?  I guess you won't be buried inside the walls Rick, you're a killer
  • Spencer you destroyed that place the moment Rick and company entered
  • Yeah that wall just got a lot bigger thanks you Aaron and Rick
  • These people are crazy!
  • Is he drunk or bit?  Drunk
  • Wait...its Deanna's fault Spencer?  Maybe you have a point...
  • Oh teenagers in the Apocalypse
  • Enid is a Wolf boys, accept that
  • What is with Carl's hair?
  • Wait, the doctor is still alive?
  • Great pep talk Tara!
  • Just another walker...that went down REALLY easy...wow
  • More speeches?  GOOD GRIEF
  • Yep, a sewer sounds great.  I mean what could possibly go wrong!
  • Talking in the sewer wouldn't attract every walker down there to them...nope not at all
  • Now those are some shitty walkers
  • Wait...he is leaving Ronnie there?  I wouldn't trust him to guard a cake in a locked fridge
  • Oh good grief!  In the Apocalypse Maggie?
  • Where is Aaron's boyfriend?
  • Oh poor Sam
  • Smile you son of a bitch
  • Where is Eugene this week?  And Carol?  And everyone?
  • Well Jesse got over her husband fast
  • What the fuck was that?  Blood?
Well this episode was interesting.  Lots of character development and a bit of a let down from last weeks episode in my opinion.  But then again after the first four episodes eventually things are going to slow down a bit.  I know a lot of fans didn't like last week but I really did.  This week was quite different and a good thing.  Gotta keep lowering and then rising the intensity.  You can't have the intensity at 10 every week or there is no point.  Gotta drop it down to a 4 to ramp it back up, that is good story telling.

I want Glenn to be alive now that Maggie is with child.  I think in the preview I saw Glenn....now I'm all "is he alive?  Is he dead?".  Can you really make Maggie yet another single mother?

Okay there we go.  Next week we go back to Daryl and company and I'm interested in seeing what we find out there!

Doctor Who: The Zygon Inversion

I'm back a day late and a dollar short to watch the Zygon Inversion.  "With the Zygons invading England, and UNIT neutralized, the Doctor stands alone to stop the Zygons from taking over the entire planet. But how can he stop the Zygons? And how can he save his friends?"  We last saw the Doctor with Osgood on the Presidential plane as Z-Clara shot a rocket at it.  How ever will the Doctor get out of this!  HE IS DOOOOOOMED!

  • Well that is tooth paste, that makes sense
  • Is she getting random input from her double?  COOL!
  • Weird she has slight control.  Wonder how that will come back
  • Set him free?
  • Wait...was he already a Zygon or did she turn him into on?  My guess is he already was one
  • Really?  A parachute?  Way to go Doctor Disco!
  • Now I wonder what IS in the Doctor's browser history
  • John Disco?
  • Classic distraction
  • Peter Capaldi has a creepy smile
  • Jenna Coleman has a GREAT smile!
  • a built in lie detector....interesting
  • Oh no, the creepy lighting.  The creepy lighting is never a good thing
  • What about the mind wiping thingy in the archive?
  • Why wake Clara up?
  • Loving the Doctors speech!
  • Can Zygons clone Zygons?
  • The Judge of Time?  I like that...the Judge
Well that was amazing!  These episode are why I love Doctor Who.  Episodes that have a slight message but don't get all preachy because they're doing it a great speech.

This felt like a David Tennant/Russell T. Davies episodes to be honest.  I could see #10 doing this episode but I don't think he could have given the speech at the end the same.  Peter has more history to draw on, more memories.  Oh don't get me wrong #10 would have been great, #11 would have been good but #12 was just the right time.

I don't know if Moffat wrote this or not as he has a writing credit but it might be because he is the show running but it reminds me that he really is one of my favorite Doctor Who writers.  Not my favorite show runner (even thought there has only been two) but one of my favorite writers.

These last two episodes had good to great acting, good pacing (a little drawn out at times) and the story itself fantastic.  It made me not hate Osgood nearly as much as I did.  Made me continue to love #12.  Reminded me that if Clara does actually leave (hey rule number one, the Doctor always lies) I'll be extremely disappointed.  All the companions have been good (even Donna Noble) but I REALLY like Clara.  She is the perfect mix of good and bad, ying and yang, young and old, and personally I think she is the best actress to be in the role (her and Martha).

I will be sad and if what few headlines I've seen probably shed a tear what Clara leaves the TARDIS. My only hope is that they find a way to give her happiness with Pink...but its Doctor Who and that doesn't usually happen does it?   The only good thing about Clara leaving is we'll get to see how it effects the Doctor which could be very bad!

Now I'm sad thinking about the show without Clara!  Damn you Doctor Who, you're such a wonderful show but you always make me think about things I don't want to think about.  It is also what makes you so wonderful!

Until next time, just close the boxes boys and girls...next time they might not just be a two buttons. Talk it out, love each other...and as a last resort go out for a drink with each other, the Winchester is a wonderful place to ride out the end of the world I hear!

Elder D. Todd Christofferson explains the Churches new hate policy

(Warning:  This is a rant on religion, specifically the LDS Church.  However I believe you can almost insert any religion in its place)

Good morning, afternoon or evening, whenever you happen to be visiting my blog.  I am going out this evening so my usual Doctor Who review will be later than usual.  However I am going to do a different kind of review today.

Earlier this week the LDS church released a new rule:

On November 5, the Church updated its policy, stating that children living with parents or guardians in a same-gendered marriage or cohabiting relationship cannot be baptized until of legal age. In addition, children of same-sex couples may not receive a baby blessing.

Once the child reaches the age of 18, and is no longer living with his or her same-sex parents, the child may choose to be baptized into the Church only after he or she “accepts and… commit[s] to live the teachings and doctrine of the Church, and specifically disavows the practice of same-gender cohabitation and marriage. (LDS.net)

My thoughts is that they are once again showing that Religion is full of hatred but then I found a video where Elder Christofferson Addresses Policy Changes Regarding Children of Same-Sex Couples.

So I'm going to do what any good journalist (shut up!  I've as much as journalist as the jerks at the Huffington Post or Bill O'Reilly!) would do and watch the video.

  • This is about family?  Love?  Love of the Savior?
  • Love/marriage is a sin?  Really?
  • They have the right for marriage but the church is going to deny that right?
  • Law of the Lord?
  • "...disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ to yield no ground in the matter of love and sympathy and help and brotherhood and serving and doing all we can for anybody at the same time maintaining the standards he maintained that was the saviors pattern he always was firm and what was right and wrong he never excused or winked at sin he never redefined it he never changed his mind was what it want is what it is and that's where we are but his compassion of was was an Excel and his desire and willingness and proactive efforts to minister to heal to to bless and lift to bring people toward the path that leads to happiness never ceased that's where we are we're not going to stop that we're not going to yield on our efforts to help people find what brings happiness but we know the sin does not and so we're going to stand firm there because we don't want to mislead people there is no kindness misdirecting people and leading them into any misunderstanding about what is true what is right what is wrong what leads to Christ and what leads away from Christ..." (taken from the CC of the above video so no punctuation was added and only a few minor changes when it was really off)
  • Yes why are the children in question here?
  • A sense of compassion and sympathy?  Really?  The policy is to protect children!  WTF?
  • Nothing is lost to them...but their family Mr. Christofferson
  • Oh of course, they are only disavowing the PRACTICE of same sex marriage not their parents.
  • Fairness for all and this policy are the same side of the same coin?  Really?
Well that was a bunch of double talk and PR control.  Here is how I look at it, and I could be wrong, but this is just another way for the Church to be hateful and discriminate against those they don't agree with.  Lets be honest the LDS church doesn't have a great history in tolerance despite what they say.  Ask other minorities.

for this Elder to try and say this policy is to protect the children almost made me vomit!  If they honestly believe that requiring an 18 year old to disavow the practice of same sex isn't the same as doing the same to the parents is just stupid to say.  That is like saying I disavow interracial marriage but I have no problem with my interracial parents, doesn't work that way!

Lastly look at that long quote above.  Just read it again (sorry it is one long sentence, that is how it appears in the close caption.  He talks about leading people to happiness but whose happiness is he talking about?  If I were with another man I would I'd be happy or I wouldn't be with him just like if I were with a woman.  For them to try and say they know what happiness is is disgusting.

I am sorry if this upsets some of my Mormon friends.  Trust me you wouldn't be the first religious people who I've upset and won't be the last I'm sure.

I want to make it clear that I don't want to restrict religion.  If you want to belong to the Mormon Church, the Church of Satan, be of the Jewish faith, Muslim or whatever that is fine.  However you have to realize when you make statements like this, statements that are pretty much seen as hateful, you're going to get blow back.  You're going to get that blow back on you.  When you belong to a group you get that groups stink on you when they do bad things.  Also you have the right to not allow people in your Church/Group/whatever but when you do that you open yourself up to the criticism you've received lately and is that really what the Church is about?  Dividing people?

Lastly remember I am not condemning the people of the Church just the practice of belong to the Church.  How does that feel?

The Walking Dead: Here's not Here

The Walking Dead returns tonight with "Here's not Here".  Thus far this season has been quite the rollercoaster ride with debut of the Wolves in mass, the death of probably half of Alexandria and what appeared to be the death of one of the OG's of the show Glenn.  Tonight "Morgan must face his demons on his journey from King County to Alexandria, as the identity of his mysterious friend is revealed."  90 minutes of the walking Dead starts soon, I wonder if we'll find about Glenn's fate and Rick's fate tonight.  Enough wondering, it is time to go to the world of the dead!

  • Just turned on AMC to catch Glenn's death.  I don't see how he survived.  Even if it was Nicolas we saw getting tore apart I don't see how Glenn escaped
  • I feel sorry for Rick re-watching this.  He has lost nearly everything and he has no idea what is going on with his family
  • The head of one long undead snake...
  • The look on Rick's face...that is defeat...for the first time!
  • I wonder if we'll see Morgan's kid die tonight with his mom eating him
  • Morgan is quite scary when he wants to be.
  • He did have the gun...
  • I like the fact that Morgan couldn't kill his wife, it means he always had his humanity
  • I don't think I'd want riot gear on hunting the dead.  Cut down on your line of vision
  • Would fire draw the dead?  They hinted at it last week and with the awesome fire zombies last year.  But why?  The sound?  The light?
  • That walker was like the Ood all gross and shit
  • Oh these two are in trouble!
  • OH SHIT!  Morgan is completely gone
  • It must be hard to do scenes like this for an actor, no one to play off of
  • I don't trust that goat!
  • I wonder if this guy is real or in Morgan's head...
  • Drew Carey's brother?
  • Is that sausage?  I WANT SAUSAGE!
  • I kind of like Eastman,
  • Oh Morgan, don't do something stupid
  • What did Eastman do?  He is hiding something...
  • This Into the Badlands show looks interesting
  • Oh Morgan...
  • Aikido is pretty kick ass
  • Oh its a piece of dry wall
  • I worry about Morgan, once you learn a characters story and the fact that he has a redemption story he is in danger.  The moral characters always are in danger
  • Is Morgan going to try and save the wolf he knocked out in the house a few episodes back?
  • They always have three names
  • John Carroll Lynch is an amazing actor!
  • Wait, that wasn't sausage!  Damn it, although oatmeal burgers are pretty good if done right
  • Don't ever be sorry
  • The past always comes back Morgan

That was a GREAT episode!  Eastman and Morgan were fantastic.  While I didn't expect to find out about Glenn or Rick I was hoping that is why it was 90 minutes.  However this episode did not feel like 90 minutes.  Those two actors are amazing!

The storyline was perfect and the pacing was fantastic.  Starts of hot then slows down with Eastman. Eastman was the perfect character & actor to portrait the calming factor in Morgan.

The best scene was the story about Crighton Dallas Wilton.  Lynch did such a great job delivering that story.  I was sucked in so completely.

I wonder what the response will be from the fans after the first three episodes.  I loved it!  Until next time Abyssina!
